NorthernLights
Been announced that it'll be released on 29th of July. It'll be free to Windows 7 SP1 and Windows 8.1 users. I "reserved" my copy this evening when I got a prompt about it in my task bar. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-32962830

Probably won't install it for a couple of weeks though, bound to be some shenanigans when released.

Might be for the best. My main worry is that a number of my games I have installed on my PC just stop working or have issues.
Geedub-MFC
I've been messing about the test builds and it's very good. Also reserved my copy on my two Windows 7 systems with pirate copies of Windows 7 I've read that everyone is getting it for free including pirates. Rumours that they are changing the way you pay for it and it will be some sort of subscription system where you pay extra for certain specialist features that would normally come with the Ultimate or Professional versions. This will happen in the next version of Windows which will just be called Microsoft Windows
