German Jag
A long, 10 hours on the train, but very enjoyable trip to Dresden.Massive police presence, upon arrival, escorted on to shuttle busses and straight to the DDV-Stadium. Seat in the stadium was sh!te but the stadium in general is one of the best as regards overall atmosphere & 'banter' between opposing fans!Fairly middling 1st half. H96 took the lead via a Martin Harnik goal in the 64th minute. Dresden's equalizer in the 78th minute was promptly nullified by sub Kenan Karaman 2 minutes later.Result leaves H96 3 behind Stuttgart and 3 in front of Union Berlin who moved above Braunschweig.Next up is home to Bielefeld!

Am Featha Taigh Nan Clach
Going back to see my beloved Duisburg in April. Currently 10 points clear of 3rd place
German Jag
Not the best weekend for H96, who stuttered to a 2-2 draw against Bielefeld, whilst all of the teams around them won.A good turnout from the Bielefeld fans, banner in the photo translates as 'everyone can see that we'll still turn up for Bielefeld even when the going is tough'.Result leaves H96 in 2nd, but now 5 behind Stuttgart and just 1 in front of Union Berlin / 2 in front of Braunschweig.Next up a 600 mile round trip to Karlsruhe!
Allan Jacobsen
I see that Kevin Großkreutz was released by Stuttgart after getting a kicking on a night out. Is there more to this story? Because, unless there's something behind it, it seems like a shitty move by Stuttgart. From what I've seen so far, there's quite a lot of Stuttgart fans who are mildly displeased at this.

I agree that on the face of it, Stuttgart sacking him seems a bit of a poor show. I've got a feeling it'll turn out that he wasn't meant to be out and/or was being a bawbag and brought it upon himself, or something like that.
German Jag
The proverbial shite day at the office for H96 yesterday against 2nd bottom Karlsruhe SC. A 600 mile round trip, Karlsruhe is just across the border from Strasbourg. Even then ca 1.500 H96 fans were there. As regards the game, KSC (managed by Mirko Slomka ex H96 trainer who took them to a Europa-League 1/4 final 5 years ago) were by far the better team, with H96 unable to string more than 2 passes together. As regards the wildparkstadion, an 'old school' style dump, which is due to be replaced by a new stadium.Next up a home game against 1860 München. A couple of other P&Bers also due to be in attendance!
Dindeleux
Just looked at the BT Sports roster for the Bundesliga and Europa League. Every Borussia game right up to the Hertha Berlin game in April live! Well worth the £12 I pay for it! I got BT Sport just around Christmas and I've been enjoying the German games immensely. -
Mr Gandosaur
Good day at the Volkspark. Scrappy game but vital result for us. Thought we were denied a decent looking penalty shout but I've not seen the highlights. Hadn't seen Hamburg win for 4 years up until today! Back over on the 8th April for the Hoffenheim game.
Mr Gandosaur
Was just having a look at the 3.Liga table - what has happened to Paderborn? Currently in the relegation zone and on course for a 3rd straight relegation. Their decline has been drastic.

Online purchase, then collect at the stadium on the day. Or you can get them at one of the various HSV fan shops in Hamburg. As German Jag says best bet is to order online and collect from the stadium. If you are arriving in Hamburg on Sunday then this may be your only option as the HSV fanshops in the city centre are closed on a Sunday - even if it's a matchday which is bizarre.

German Jag
A mini P&B day out in a sunny Hannover with both @Tibbermoresaint and @Aloysius Snuffleupagus in attendance to see H96 huff & puff / shitfest their way to a 1-0 win against 1860 Munich. A Martin Harnik goal in the 55th minute was enough to give H96 the 3 points and keep them right behind Stuttgart & Union Berlin in the task of getting back to the top league. Next up away to St.Pauli. Edited March 11, 2017 by German Jag
