He's clearly a massive threat on the ball but does him drifting all over the field demanding it to feet benefit us? Also thought Shaughnessy was too determined to give him the ball as quickly as possible at every opportunity and ended up forcing a lot and giving the ball away. We don't need to give O'Halloran the ball every time just because be wants it. I got the impression that him moving inside was part of the instructions given by Tommy. Can't be sure but I think the team were told to stop lumping it up field so often and to try and play it to feet and get at the Partick back four that way. However I'll admit my only evidence to support this is that Mannus rolled the ball out at one point instead of kicking it...but this clearly proves we were looking to play the passing game which would surely have involved getting the ball to O'Halloran.
