Freddy Daquin 2, 1, 0, 38 We've just seen the completion of a Grand Slam that will rank among the finest yet. Starting with Dave Chisnall's nine-darter, the performances of Martin Adams and Andy Fordham, and culminating in a classic final between Michael van Gerwen and Phil Taylor. It was a fantastic tournament. Inexplicably, I've somehow won the the Grand Slam Prediction League for the fourth straight year. That doesn't make an awful lot of sense to me, and it will lead to format changes if we are to run it again for 2016. It became clear early in the week that far too much emphasis was placed on the group stage predictions, which led to the league essentially being a two-horse-race from Wednesday onwards. Looking ahead to the World Championship - which is now only a few weeks away - it will signal the fifth anniversary of the darts prediction leagues. The 2011 World Championship was the first one we ever did. Time flies! Half a decade later, I had considered making this the last one that I was going to run, but it seems that more than enough of you still enjoy taking part in the leagues, so we'll probably keep it going for a while longer! Thanks for playing once again. I hope to see you all on the 17th for the Worlds!
