allabootgoals
What's everyone's take on games going ahead tomorrow in 50-60 mph winds. My own take is games should be called off. It's farcical conditions. I don't mind playing or watching a game in Rain, Snow or almost any other sort of conditions. But when the wind takes over the games a bogey for me. trotter1962
heard a game on 4 g lasted 12 minutes then abandoned. The match report went: " red kicked off and the red no 9 had a wind assisted shot straight from kick off that went 40 yards over the bar and 100 yards behind the goal. The blues goalkeeper than had 12 attempts to get the resulting goal kick to leave the penalty area to no avail so match abandoned" Time ball in play = 2 seconds
