Christophe
Well happy with the EOTR announcement. Very female heavy, which is a rarity on the festival circuit these days...
BallochSonsFan
I can see why they've gone with Newsom as a headliner. I can't stand her, but I can see why they'd pick her. Not convinced by either Animal Collective or Bat For Lashes. Cat Power is great on record but a complete lottery live. Not unknown for her to meltdown on stage. I've seen Devendra Banhart a couple of times and I can see him going down well in the right time slot transitioning from day time to night time - crowd are merry with a few beers and Banhart can tap into that. Jeffrey Lewis is a good booking. ELeanor Friedberger is superb. Basia Bulat and Dawn Landes further down the bill are both worth catching. Always fancied EOTR but never got round to going. Saving for my Canada trip this year but I may go next year when my car is paid off and I've done Canada. I want to do a couple of big US festivals - either Bonaroo or Austin City Limits and Hardly Strictly Bluegrass - but I'll possibly keep that til I'm 40. Ira Gaines
Usually a list of bands who you can rule out of Festival No. 6. There's not too much there that I'd be too gutted to miss out on. Bat for Lashes would have made a tremendous Friday headliner though.
