A two horse race involving Aberdeen and/or hearts is infinitely more interesting to "most people" than a two horse race involving rangers and celtic.

It would be even better if we had all four teams in the race for the title. Anything would be better than the nonsense we have at the moment.

The nonsense we have this season?

Are you saying there has been no title race this year?

Anything would not be better.

A return to the duopoly would be very much worse.

The arms race would move the pair well clear, ending the sharing round of cups we've been seeing.

Each of them would probably do better in Europe than at present, thus perpetuating the gulf further.

For the last few seasons, there's been an outside chance that a club I don't despise, might win the League. For the previous twenty, there'd been none.

The duopoly is better for a lazy press, for people with a regard for either OF side and for those from outside Scotland who take an occasional, fleeting interest but lack any stake in our game, emotional or otherwise.

I don't care what such people think.

The duopoly was rotten for our game and a flimsy grasp is required, in order to welcome its return.

Anyhoo, Durham has already went full circle and has been slagging off Rangers fans in his latest fishing trip.

My, that was a surprise.

I couldn't give a Gibson Flying V what he or his illiterate hoofwanking sidekick have to say on the wireless, to be frank about it.

Talksport is a Last-Chance Saloon full of real-life Alan Partridges and the wine-soaked dregs of tabloid journalism who have pished every other chance they have had up against a Fleet Street back-alley.

See if you listen to TalkSport, but just give Durham/Darren Goughs show a miss it's actually really quite good.

Durham comes on at drive time and is purely tasked with winding people up and getting people to call in.

Other than that there's some decent content on it.

But yes. Durham is a rocket.

Shame he is the voice of a top-rated English radio station

And you are the voice of well...f**k all.

Durham's an irrelevant has been who is becoming more and more desperate to be controversial because he knows he can't keep up with online media. He's a dinosaur of another era harking back to a 'this is the way it was and the way it should be' mentality default (sadly unable to adapt to change the older you get) and he often pokes fun at the Scots over the football up here. there's a comment in that link you were praising him for about a couple days ago you selectively missed out on. Yes he is taking the piss out of you, gullible.

Rangers shareholders have pledged £5million for new signings this summer ahead of an assault on the Premiership title.
Sportsmail understands the club’s backers – chairman Dave King and the Three Bears of George Letham, George Taylor and Douglas Park – discussed next season’s budgets in a series of meetings both before and after Sunday’s Scottish Cup triumph over Celtic.
And King, who met with Mark Warburton again on Tuesday night, has made a promise to stump up half the £5m outlay for new players via a fresh soft loan as part of an agreement to finance a title challenge next season.

King and the Three Bears have already provided a series of soft loans to prop up the club’s fragile finances. With Premiership cashflow expected to bolster the balance sheet by £5m, however, the Ibrox board hope to reach break even point next year.
Victory over Hibernian in the Scottish Cup Final on May 21 would provide further revenue from European competition and cap a successful season following promotion from the Championship and victory in the Petrofac Cup Final.
Warburton has warned, however, that a title push and Europa League football will require ‘four or five’ new signings.

The club have already signed Accrington Stanley duo Josh Windass and Matt Crooks on freedom of contract. But King has promised Warburton the recruitment drive won’t stop there, with cash pledged for transfer fees and a substantial increase to the wage bill, after the Ibrox boss was able to name just five substitutes against Celtic.
‘We won’t relax about it,’ said King. ‘We still have a plan to improve the team during the summer.
‘The players we had on the park last year were fantastic but next year if we’re going to challenge for the title it is important that we strengthen and get a few more players in.’
Sportsmail understands Barnsley midfielder Conor Hourihane is on Warburton’s wishlist as he prepares for an assault on Scottish football’s top flight next season.
The 25-year-old is aware of the Glasgow giants’ interest but, still under contract with Barnsley until 2017, a six-figure transfer fee would be required.

No, that's what Adrian Durham thinks... And Adrian Durham is a walloper of the highest order on a station chock-full of walloping thundercunts.

That is all.

He's no Jum Spence that's for sure.
