Homer Thompson
Hi all, I have the same issue as the op. Not too clued up on all things PC. I'm Looking for a laptop to play FM on and been offered this HP pavilion g6 notebook PC, version 1511. Windows 10 home edition. 6.00GB installed RAM with 64 bit operating system. Would this be sufficient for what i need it for? You'd be best checking the exact specs, particularly the CPU and GFX against the min specs for FM If it has 6GB its more than likely got a CPU that meets the min specs. You might find, though, that you cant use the 3D match engine, depending on the GFX
StreetwiseHercules
Anyone requiring a laptop for any purpose should by a MacBook. MacBook Air is the best purchase I've ever made, after going through 5 Windows based laptops in 7 years. Dell, HP, Packard Bell, they were all utter shite. The only minor complaint about my MacBook Air is that FM drains the battery quite quickly. Relatively speaking though. Normal use gives 12 hours of battery life. FM cuts this to 6.
