microdave
Since re-organisation in 1994/95, would I be correct in saying the longest a part time club has played in the second tier is five years? I think Queen of the South had five years early to mid noughties before going full time.

I think Queen of the South had five years early to mid noughties before going full time. It's debatable the point at which we might actually have been deemed "full time". I think officially it was probably the start of the 2007-08 season (though we still had John O'Neill and possibly Stephen Grindlay at the time who were part time. We were promoted in 01/02 so yes, five seasons officially part time in between. The last of those though we were about three quarters full time for the second half of the season and trained one evening a week along with one or two daytime sessions through the week.
