Ira Gaines
Got to love the Irish. Player wise they aren't up to much, but O'Neill and Keane have got them so well motivated. They've went and done it again with another late goal, you just can't ever write them off. Wish we could get a manager to install a spirit like that... Four out of four home nations in the last sixteen. Odds on that at the start of the tournament? Given the groups and the format, surely the chances were always good? You just know fine well Scotland would have made it four out of five home nations if they had qualified.
jmothecat
McGeady, McArthy, Keane and Martin O'Neill. It is a list of utterly dislike able individuals.

Cerberus
The only good thing about 3rd place qualifying is that we get more games. It makes the league table fairly pointless though. Congrats to Ireland.

pandarilla
It's not luck. They've fully deserved this. Shite team compared to Scotland though. People on here in total denial... Of course luck comes into it. And this Irish team have it in spades (the c***s). International football is more influenced by luck than domestic football. Fewer games, and so decisions and deflections have a bigger impact.

Zen Archer (Raconteur)
Do the Isle of Man have a team? Yes but they have the advantage of having 33 legs on the park.
