New Kilbirnie manager?

Absolutely brilliant appointment. Superb pair and I'm sure they'll do a great job for you. Mark left after a short but difficult spell at Linlithgow but the team that played under him in his only full season in charge was a joy to watch and I doubt if I will be lucky enough to see that again. 5 competitions - won 3, runners up in the other 2. Scored goals from everywhere. Blitzed teams at times with attacking pace and flair. You're very lucky to have them and I wish them every success - great to have them back in the game. Good luck!

Sounds incredible at linlithgow so why did he resign?

I wouldn't go into that on here - suffice to say that it just got difficult for a range of reasons. But the football we played when we were on fire was incredible. Not only did he take a team on a 51 game unbeaten run (and the 1-0 loss to Talbot was no disgrace), he only lost 2 games from his appt in November until the unbeaten run started in the last week of March. In fact we didn't lose a league game between August 2012 and 28th December 2013. So the fact that he had gone by Feb 14 was just incredible really.

Interesting appointment. Certainly shown to be a good manager in the east but IMO appointing a manager from another region who won't know WoS players / teams is a bit of a risk. Especially since it looks like KL need to bring in a few players - will he be able to tempt players he may know to travel to north Ayrshire every other week?

How do you know he won't know WOS players?

Braddo may have been out the game. Doesn't mean he has not been active.

He is also West based and alongside Ronald will certainly know what's been happening

They train in Glasgow and Kilbirnie's only 20 minutes from there really.

A lot of Glasgow players don't seem to mind travelling to Cumnock, New Cumnock and Auchinleck every so often so Kilbirnie wouldn't be a hardship.

He only needs to attract one, & I think he lives in the Glasgow area.

Aye he is in the west region now more cut throat that bit more physical and unforgiving tough league where tippy tappy football isn't always going to win you games.

Go to watch ma local team semi regular and heard a few stories about the assistant which weren't great maybe thought he was to good for the juniors but comes running back when thing don;t go to plan elsewhere just saying like.

Seriously??? You heard a few stories about the assistant??? Ever heard the saying, nothing good to say then don`t say anything??? Have you ever seen a game through in the East? You`re having a laugh if you think the West is any more physical but then we already know that by the rest of your comment.....
