lowenan
It’s strange there aren’t more Cumbernauld fans though. Decent sized town.

They've had Clyde until recently. Cumbernauld United for the Juniors. And you can probably guess two of the more popular clubs in the town.

Yeah I agree, be good to get some chat going for these other threads, absolutely no problem with bringing them back to life. I don’t have anything to add about Cumbernauld though, sorry. Berwick and Tranent both have decent supports but very little traffic on here. Berwick fan on their thread said they have quite an active Facebook group so guess most are there.

Along with Stephen O'Neill, Craig Holmes, Graeme Holmes, Ashley Ballam, Cammy Dickson, Billy Mortimer, Callum Home & David Churchill, all retained / re-signed from last season, & the McLaren brothers Regan & Connor as new signings. A good solid unit that finished last season on a strong run, so adding a few more decent signings could bode well for a decent showing this season. Will also be interesting to see whether they bring through any of the young talent from last season's 'invincible' U20s.

We had him at clydebank a few seasons ago. Very inconsistent as most wingers are. We also had hommer craig Holmes very good on the ball but same again inconsistent Mon the papers

Like a lot of what I saw of Craig Holmes. As you say, very good with / on the ball, & can also ping a long pass & deadball, but does have the occasional tendency to try to be too clever sometimes & ends up giving the ball away in positions that can put the team in trouble.

Recovered from the setback of going behind within 5 minutes to more than match their full-time opponents in terms of fitness, organisation & hard work, & bettering them on the creativity & goal scoring fronts. Cole McIntyre with a hat-trick from midfield, including an absolute screamer for the second. Fingers crossed for Colts that this is a positive early sign of the benefit of keeping last season's squad together.
