  1. Doesn’t seem at all far fetched, I endorse
  2. I don’t know how I feel about this, there’s been a mental stooshie the last 24 hours, it’s all gone bonkers in tier 5, and to my knowledge no one has blamed Cowdenbeath yet. Strange times we are living in.
  3. How can you judge that he would be a crap appointment? Because he’s near the bottom of a league the club have struggled in for years doesn’t really mean all that much. Not sure magic Mick or Pep could get much more out the players at his disposal. From what I could gather on Facebook and some of the fans comments, he seems to be trying to build foundations for the future. Most fanbases would either be pleased or not bothered about a manger leaving in the position Gretna have finished, but the fans seem really disappointed.
  4. That’s a fair point. You would think SFA might have announced this on perhaps Sunday before East Kilbride printed and sold all the tickets, fans probably booked buses to come down etc. Very odd timing.
  5. FFS, thought this was a wind up, what a shambles. Sorry for the clubs and fans who were geared up for the two games, a lot of revenue lost. I guess Buckie f’d up big style though at the end of the day? I suppose it gives EK time to rest up, never sure if that’s great or not to have a longish gap now.
  6. Bryan Gilfillan stepping down as Gretna manager once they have completed their last few fixtures. Seemed to be very well thought of going by the comments on Facebook.
  7. I don’t think that was all, I am sure the money was also used to cover some of the matchday referee/lino costs, unless I am misremembering (which is always possible at my age).
  8. The old firm could donate 1% of their turnover to distribute to clubs outwith the top 4 leagues, after all they always have an eye out for the greater good of the game. Don’t they
  9. Well, these last few posts relating to Cowdenbeath have been absolutely riveting. We’re in for a long summer.
  10. Any news on what Dean Brett is doing next season? He seems to like a club close to home which is absolutely fair enough when you have a young family. How has he been overall, seems to be a starter most weeks?
  11. That thread over there titled ‘Junior takeover’ is mental, complete mayhem, I don’t understand half of what is going on there.
  12. Indeed so, the Uni’s rather magnificent cake offerings will be sadly missed.
  13. Are you aware there are still 2 fixtures left in SPFL2?
  14. Thanks, I wasn’t aware there was a lump sum payment made each year, other than Scottish Cup appearance money.
