I've never forgiven them for the linesman incident when the boy jumped out the crowd with the Morton strip on and ran the line.

Anyone any idea where Dalbeattie will play next year? Are they going to the WOSL or South?

The committee of Bellshill Athletic can announce that we have accepted the resignation of 1st team manager, Gary Elliott, with immediate effect. Gary feels that the commitment required for the role is something he is currently unable to give at this time due to family and work commitments. We would like to put on record our most sincere thanks to Gary Elliott and his management team for their efforts. They arrived at the club in season 2021/22, during a period of turmoil, and they put a team together that allowed the club to continue in the league set-up and we are extremely grateful for that. We are now accepting applications for the vacant managers position, with a deadline set for August 15th at 5pm. Any interested parties should send their cv to bellshillathletic1897@gmail.com In the meantime, the 1st team will be managed by Dean Muir, and assisted by Kris Jarvie and Andrew Shaw.

Amatuer Contracts in the WOSL
Lord Elron 44 replied to Lord Elron 44's topic in West of Scotland Football League
I think from my point of view . It's hard to protect your players on an amatuer status. But you can't necessarily sign a pro contract for players because you don't have cash. How do you protect yourself as a club -
Amatuer Contracts in the WOSL
Lord Elron 44 replied to Lord Elron 44's topic in West of Scotland Football League
Might be a daft question but do players who sign a professional contract have to be paid -
Looking to see if anyone knows how amatuer contracts in the league work. If a player signs an amatuer contract and then decides he wants to leave . Can the club hold the player to the contract? If the player then contacts SFA/WOSL can they then get released even if the club refuse to release? Thirdly if they then release him can he sign a amatuer contract with another side in the west

That's one proposal the other is for a merging of Division 3 and 4. There's a vote at the AGM
