Bacchus
It didn't appear to be a tackle involving Johnston that caused the injury. Speaking after the match, Canada boss Jesse Marsch offered hope that the issue won't be anything too serious. He said: “Alistair said he felt a little bit of tightness in his hamstring and he felt it was smarter to step out.
shermanator
Watching the game back around the 19th minute you can see Johnston motion to the bench and try and stretch out his hamstring. Played another 5 minutes and didn't look any different. before being subbed off. He's been replaced for the Mexico match.

stressball
Would have been better if Ralston hadn’t shown up for international duty.

I think it is very kind of Scotland to give lots of game time. It keeps him match fit should we need him in the near future

bullywee2019 Posted Saturday at 03:22 Share Posted Saturday at 03:22 (edited) I actually remember saying to my mate in 2016, when Celtic beat Motherwell 4-3 at Fir Park an unbeaten treble was definitely on that season. I also still think if we'd made to the Winter shutdown in 2017-18 without losing a match (lost to Hearts in the penultimate match) then Celtic would of went on to win back-to-back unbeaten trebles. bullywee2019 Posted Saturday at 03:27 Share Posted Saturday at 03:27 (edited) Aberdeen seem the biggest threat to Celtic going unbeaten in league. If Celtic get the League Cup in the bag and still haven't lost by then domestically... It's a good possibility. I'd honestly rather see Celtic do good in Europe this season. Been too long. Would be awesome if Parkhead become a fortress again.
