Ira Gaines
I was really disappointed in how Adelaide came out in the second half. I've said this numerous times, but this Sydney FC side can be got, and Adelaide had chances before the Bobo goal. They came out in the second half tentative when they should have been chasing the game.

Eednud
Lower EPL? English Championship? He’s supposedly meeting with Adelaide United over here today. Karim Matmour has had to leave for personal reasons, an earlier report said his wife was ill, so would be a good replacement. ETA: if it’s not a figment of the reporter’s imagination. Eednud
Good to know, fingers crossed for an SFC home game on 20/21 Feb. No luck, they will be away to Shanghai Shenhua. The are at home the week before against a play-off that most likely will be a South Korean team. Kashima Antlers make up the group.

A new low. Losing to a team from the Philippines, a team 2 weeks into its pre season with numbers peeling off the shite quality shirts they bought cheap from eBay. Eednud
Bert van Marwijk appointed Socceroos coach for Russia. That’s the 3rd Dutch coach, not counting another 2 who were caretaker coach for 1 game each after Guus Hiddink and Pim Verbeek left. http://www.abc.net.au/news/2018-01-25/bert-van-marwijk-named-socceroos-coach/9360858

I know odds are never always bang on (or even close sometimes), but I saw Brisbane were 1.05 to win that game. Someone laying them on Betfair will have made a fortune.
