I was really disappointed in how Adelaide came out in the second half. I've said this numerous times, but this Sydney FC side can be got, and Adelaide had chances before the Bobo goal. They came out in the second half tentative when they should have been chasing the game.

Lower EPL? English Championship?

He’s supposedly meeting with Adelaide United over here today. Karim Matmour has had to leave for personal reasons, an earlier report said his wife was ill, so would be a good replacement.

ETA: if it’s not a figment of the reporter’s imagination.

Good to know, fingers crossed for an SFC home game on 20/21 Feb.

No luck, they will be away to Shanghai Shenhua. The are at home the week before against a play-off that most likely will be a South Korean team. Kashima Antlers make up the group.

It's Star Wars Round, with pre-match and half-time activities focused on the movie series, ahead of the highly anticipated Star Wars: The Last Jedi movie release on December 14.

For Star Wars fans, come in costume for the chance to win a Star Wars prize pack on the pitch before the game. Simply head to Gate 5's Victory Village before the game to register.(You'll just need to remove any face coverings for a security check on your way into the stadium. Active areas cannot wear any face/head coverings, including face paint.)

If you'd like to sit with other Victory fans, purchase a ticket in L1 Aisle 15, or head to the General Admission bay L3 Aisle 15.

Enter our best dressed competition! Head to Gate 5 to register before 7pm. The winner gets an incredible prize pack full of Star Wars and Victory gear!

Kids can grab a Storm Trooper or Chewbacca mask on their way into the stadium and put it on at half-time for the chance to win a prize pack full of Star Wars and Victory gear.

In the ACL 2nd Preliminary Round Brisbane Roar lose at home, although home was the QSAC Stadium for the night, to Ceres Negros from the Philippines by 2-3.

A new low. Losing to a team from the Philippines, a team 2 weeks into its pre season with numbers peeling off the shite quality shirts they bought cheap from eBay.

I know odds are never always bang on (or even close sometimes), but I saw Brisbane were 1.05 to win that game. Someone laying them on Betfair will have made a fortune.
