The BIG strip the titles thread

For once FB, this is a point that I can agree with you on, and one that almost all Scottish fans can agree on. I despise Reagan less but still despise him. Doncaster is the epitome of an administrator brought in to commercialise the game without having any knowledge of the cut and thrust of a Scottish Football. I hate how he using AQI in the way he raises his voice at the end of his statement and I also fucking hate his haircut. Man it's a shocker. Regan's only saving grace is that he comes across as less of a fucknugget.

His haircut is pretty horrific

Dafuq is going on? The Cockwomble invites us the fans to air our views, a resounding "f**k off ya w****r" is the only view the corrupt c**t should hear.

We are to ask questions about the new robust/corrupt rules that he can dance around by not actually saying they were made to clear a club that would have brought the whole game into disrepute from the top level down to just one club.

Although I could attend if possible I do not have any fucking confidence at all he would even come close to remotely answering my first question before I got silenced and ignored. It's a fucking sham question time that will most likely or probably have the questions put forward to the c**t first before answers were predetermined to avoid telling the real truth.

This should be fun and could have the Cockwomble look even more fucking corrupt than we already know by avoiding the real questions we want answered.

What questions would you ask him?

How much of his pocket money did Monkey donate?

Oh and before i forget. Get It Right Up Ye.

I've not received pocket money for well over thirty years and I'd never donate to anything so daft.

Have you a coherent argument as to why the titles should be retained yet?

Hey Nacho.

Are you still totally without the first idea of what the title stripping debate is about?

bitter celtic  and a few diddy fans annoyed at rangers being more successful, so despite ebts being legal tax avoidance as stated by the supreme court and rangers being guilty of nothing and the tax only established as being owed after the SC court case result two weeks ago, they want to ignore the law & sfa/spl/spfl rules which say we havent done anything wrong barring the side letters which we have already been punished for 4 years ago and waste their money on legal options that they have no chance in succeeding with. that covers it doesnt it :thumsup2

Oh dear, how sad, never mind.

CELTIC fans have been warned they may have been duped by a bogus crowdfunding page to raise legal action to strip Rangers’ titles.

TheGoFundMe campaign is believed to have raised over £2,000 after it was set up under the name Tim O’Toole.

done by the Phantom on Twitter, he changed his Twitter name to strip the titles and started a crowdfunding page under the name Tim Otoole (the boy who fell down the well in the simpsons:thumsup2) raised £2300 in a few hours.

No, no it doesn't.

You see, it's to do with player registration.  The players were not registered properly, but were controversially deemed eligible, purely on the basis that they couldn't be found otherwise retrospectively.

You've had no handle on this, throughout.

I can understand the stance of Rangers fans Nacho. To be perfectly honest I couldn't give a f**k about gaining titles from this and I speak as a Celtic fan. The problem I have with the whole affair is that I feel it was dealt with poorly. Stripping of titles could have happened. Some say it couldn't but there was a post earlier in this thread that showed the possible sanctions that could have been applied and stripping was one of them. In saying that however, it was wrong to have had the LNS enquiry before the full result of the tax case by the SC the other week. The SPFL tied their hands on this one by what they done. A £250000 fine was nowhere near enough given what we know now.

What's more interesting is the new rules that have been put in place by the SPFL regarding tax events which I, and probably everyone on here sees as a case of bolting the door after the horse has gone. The whole issue was the side letters and the subsequent effect it had on registration. Rangers dodged a bullet on this one and that can't be denied. Some on here have used the double jeopardy analogy which is a good way to put it.

Rangers got lucky on this one and the review and invitation to hear supporters views on the issue is an attempt to appease although I don't think it ever will.

Agree. Started new thread devoted to this subject just for the fun of hearing people's views.

there was no legitimate reason to strip the titles, the tax case result was dealt with by nimmo at the time and us being liable doesnt change the fact that they were legal tax avoidance according to the Supreme court, the sc result changed absolutely nothing about the only thing relevant to football which was the side letters which has already been dealt with

EBTs weren't declared to be 'legal tax avoidance'.  They were found to be exactly the opposite - either BDO or the recipients will have to pay the tax on them.

It wasn't dealt with properly though.

A hopelessly unjust process, and an outcome that flies in the face of how football has always tackled registration issues.

Titles couldn't have been stripped, as LNS said Rodney McKenzie misunderstood the rules regarding title stripping.

You can't alter the rules just because it's sevco (grrrrrrrrrr)

You are an absolute spanner. It isn't about EBT's any more, it's about the money going into it before it left the UK to go offshore that has been declared as taxable income/players earnings fuckwit.

Yet another spanner, the rules were designed/created to stop any title stripping the year before and even the year during the LNS commission so that it would be buried as Scotland's shame.

It wasn't Sevco; it was Rangers.
