Agreed with you on not blaming the fans, but on your last point - Rangers fans have continually welcomed, cheered and financed a succession of asset strippers and conmen since the newco was formed so I doubt that would have stopped them prior to that point.

Green, Wallace, Murray, Mather, Llambias, Ashley, Stockbridge, Ahmed and the fuckin Easdale brothers!!

If the devil cast his net eh!?

Indeed - but that is their way.  They claim we celebrated a draw, whereas:
Truth 1.  Most of the Bears on here are kicking ourselves for chucking away 2 points.
Truth 2.  Celtic went on a lap of honour to celebrate securing a point against us.
Conclusion: Facts are like soap to Celtic fans -slippery at worst but to be avoided at best.

Useless fact #362: There's more alcohol in mouthwash than in wine.

The fans certainly applauded the players at full time, but a bit of a stretch to say we were celebrating!? I’d say most fans were more subdued than euphoric on reflecting that we could well have taken all 3 points on our 2nd half performance.
On Sutton, he’s become a tired bore. His shite patter, obvious trolling online, on screen and in print doesn’t do himself any favours as a credible pundit. Zzzzzz

Don’t rise mate.

If you couldn’t go over and have even the most muted celebration after the year your team has had, when could you.

The Orcs think everything is about them remember.

Think most would have been happy to contribute, it would have taken some effort to put a dent in a reported tax bill of £120M + though.
Secondly how many fans would have held back in handing over funds to the fuckin shysters we had in place running the show. Still maintain you can’t blame the fans.

The ‘Big’ Tax bill was a huge factor in HMRC refusing to allow the club to exit administration through a CVA.
By the time the Administrators had misguidedly done a deal with Green, the fans were boycotting ST renewals in their droves. Hindsight’s a wonderful thing but it’s understandable that so many felt he was only there to strip what he could from what was left of the club. They weren’t willingly going to fill his pockets for him.
