Hope the new lad does well, should never have let Aitken go.

Skelly doesn't bring near as much to the squad as Matty did so hopefully Mutale can help

Crack is a terrible drug. Put the pipe down dude.

In all seriousness as stupid as this sounds Saturday is an absolute must win.

I just can’t see us getting a win though, Bonnyrigg have improved this season & had our cards marked last season. So a change in fortune isn’t forthcoming I don’t think.

Will Ray ditch the formation that worked so well in the league cup, but has failed miserable in the league?

will we finally see a win?

The state of you all.

You were going to win the league after such a successful league cup campaign and are now a collective, blubbering mess.

The 3-4-3 was getting all the plaudits and the way forward for Uncle Ray and now it needs abandoned.

The fickleness of the football fan knows no bounds. A real embarrassment considering you are only THREE games into the league campaign.

The 3-4-3 still has merit (I personally like it). It's just so strange that immediately after the League Cup we stopped scoring and appeared to lose the fluidity we had.

Yes Skelly got injured, but surely our good form wasn't entirely down to him.

I'm not calling for Ray's head, nor do I think we'll have a season like last year. I admit I was on the league champions hype train, which may have been too premature but surely the Loons (or Athies as the club seem to prefer now) should be in the conversation for playoffs, and hopefully the title.

However, we do need an uptick in form otherwise we could become draw specialists which would make the team part of the mid-table mediocrity.

You've just had more of an opinion about another club in the last 24 hours than you did about your own club in the past almost week.

What does it say about the football fan when that occurs?

The truth hits home as the tears stream down Loon.

Enjoy your weekend. Enjoy your team playing football. Think back to those dark covid times and really enjoy it win, lose or draw.

Enjoying the games isn't a problem for me, I'm extremely grateful after the COVID times.

We're mostly just in disbelief at how quickly our change in form has been in a short time.

Personally I think too many supporters took the League cup seriously and so got waaay too carried away. No attention should be paid to it, the league games - as McKinnon said in an interview - are totally different.

Absolutely.

It's nothing more than glorified pre-season I am surprised at the naivety among your support.

According to The Courier, Ray McKinnon has finally said that he hopes to sign another striker to strengthen our depth up top. Any ideas on who he might target?

Also, according to the website Skelly should be back (at least on the bench) for next week.

Bit confusing when we've just signed a striker last week though, won't be bavidge because he's looking like he'll be in around Aberdeens first team.🤔 it's another full back, left winger or even centre mid we could do with now.

Assuming it’ll just be another loan signing from Aberdeen, Dundee, Dundee United or St Johnstone to stick with the ‘ local ‘ player agenda.

A forward Taylor Steven that was with East Fife on loan last season potentially?
