  1. I take it all back. Well done Big Rusty, we are safe now!
  2. F@@k sake! Here we go. If we lose today and Stranraer win, we’re going down.
  3. It’s pretty embarrassing, especially when we are still very much in a relegation fight imo! Amazed they found enough goals that weren’t defenders from set pieces. One thing I did notice though was Smokie driving out of midfield for Skellys goal v Arbroath, excellent play, but absolutely no place for that at The Alpha Dome.
  4. I made the trip earlier in the season in awful conditions and witnessed probably one of our very few pass mark performances. But I am the same as you, could not think of anything worse, will probably take in a local junior game.
  5. What makes it even more mental is some of our fans were absolutely creaming themselves over the signing.
  6. Would keep Marc and Matty, 'Rusty' can GTF. Hutchison been very good and would like to see him stay, but i've been told he can't get away quick enough unfortunately. Whatley and Robson both do the exact same for me, nothing creative. Would keep one of them maybe. Thommo not done enough for me, would maybe keep him as a squad player/sub coming off the bench for impact. Morrison, would definitley want to keep him but as a CH. Can't see him wanting to hang around tbh though. Munro is another I would like to stay, but heard he is also wanting away. Scally does nothing for me and wouldn't lose sleep over him leaving. Totally agree everyone else can go, apart from Roberto for me.
  7. 100% agree, this is my biggest gripe this year, we have absolutely nobody who will take the ball from defence and drive into attack, nobody! How any "manager" can think you are going to be successful without a single player of that type in your starting 11 week after week really does beggar belief. And ironically, in my opinion two of the players we have let go (Smokie & Patty) were the only 2 players in the squad capable of doing this, maybe Mykyta, but he seems to be getting the same treatment as Smokie & Patty now, obviously far too attacking and creative for Mckinnon. Went into a wholesaler in Dundee on Monday with my Loons tammy on, guy behind the desk was a Lochee United fan and the first thing he said to me was that we must have some team if we can let Paterson & Moore go, they have both been outstanding since signing. I just sniggered and couldn't even manage an answer, some team indeed.
  8. You're right it was. I've said it for weeks if not months, he's not fit enough for this level, and him trying to steal a yard on the defender shows he knows himself he's not sharp enough to stay onside. We can always play 'Big Rusty' the other goal machine that Mckinnon signed to save our season.
  9. My thoughts exactly, and we have probably been very lucky throughout the season that defenders have managed to chip in with goals from set-pieces etc. Can that luck continue into our last 4 games? Or, will Skelly suddenly turn into the goal scoring machine we were promised at the start of the season and add to his impressive league tally of 3 goals. An embarrising total for a CF who has played as many games as he has this season, and he's not totally to blame, I've said it all season the creativity from midfield is non-existent.
  10. Also worth noting, Bonnyrigg, Clyde and Stranraer all have to play Stenny in the remaining fixtures. Really hope they haven't downed tools after sealing the title.
  11. I was checking remaing fixtures yesterday, and I am honestly getting more worried by the minute. If we get beat on Saturday and again against EF (which I think we will) and Stranraer manage to sneak a win against Spartans or Dumbarton, I just really worry about us going into that game against Stranraer with any kind of pressure on us, our players just don't seem to have a single bit of fight in them. And the way we will set up will just invite pressure onto us. Then going onto the last game of the season, we have to go to Bonnyrigg who will no doubt still be fighting it out with us, and Stranraer are at home to Stenny, who will no doubt be in full holiday mode by this time and not giving a flying f**k! Anyone who thinks we are safe, needs to get their head out of the sand. I admit I am a bot of a worrier and may well be overthinking, but it certainly isn't ridicilous. And we think we have watched some dire negative football up to now, I can only imagine what we are about to be served up in these last 4 matches, get ready foe a McKinnon masterclass in how to kill all enjoyment in a game of football.
  12. Very true, but stranger things have certainly happened. Stranraer game will be massive.
  13. Absolutely no way we are safe! 5 points in it with 4 games to go, we are well and truly in this, and so we should be with performances like that and a clown running the show. 4 massive games for our club’s future coming up, and I’m not sure we have what it takes to get us over the line.
