They have, as have SF, and that can only be good. However, there is an attempt by the Reids to obfuscate, saying "There is no proof that they were Cliftonville fans, despite the bus originating from just up the road and most of the occupants wearing red and white. Like Linfield, Cliftonville have some utterly dreadful hangers-one.

Co.Down Hibee
Not a classic at the oval by any means by all reports but it was the type of game the glens would have drawn the last couple of years so progress. I think glenavon can go top tonight as linfield aren't playing

Coleraine down to 10 men, Eion Bradley sent off. Now 1-1, Darren McCauley equaliser. Edited September 25, 2018 by Jacksgranda

Jacksgranda
-Glenavon, who defeated Dungannon Swifts 2-1, still top, a point ahead of Linfield who beat Ballymena 2-1. United fans greeting - aren't they always? - about not getting a penalty. Coleraine drew at Newry, and Glentoran were held to a draw at Milltown by 10 man Warrenpoint. Crusaders and Cliftonville both come good, the Crues winning 4-1 at Brandywell over Institute, and the Reds coming from a goal down to win 3-1 over Ards at Solitude. There's a 6 point gap between second placed Linfield on 21 and third placed Coleraine on 15. Glentoran are fourth on goal difference, a point ahead of Crusaders who are a point ahead of Cliftonville. Ballymena are seventh with 11 points, then Newry City with 8, ahead of Institute on goal difference. Tenth are Ards with 6 points, edging out Dungannon Swifts on goal difference with Warrenpoint bottom with 5 points. Everybody has played 9 games except Glentoran and Ballymena who have played 8. In the Championship, big spenders Larne lead the way with 20 points from 8 games, with Dundela and Portadown close behind with 18 points each, both played 8. at the other end, Ballinamallard continue to struggle in bottom position with 3 points from 8, 3 behind the PSNI, who are a point behind Loughgall. Jacksgranda
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/45730246 A Crusaders win would take them above The Reds, a Cliftonville win would take them up to third. Ards and Institute also meet, and both sides could do with the 3 points.

Jacksgranda
Coleraine's 32 unbeaten league run is well and truly ended as Glenavon win 4-1 at the Coleraine Showgrounds. McAree out! Liam Beckett saying give McAree time as Oran Kearney was given time. Correct, but Kearney didn't inherit the Irish Cup Winners and League runners-up. McAree's old side is in even bigger doo doo, losing 2-0 at home to warrenpoint Town, whose keeper had a blinder. And Ballymena see off Newry City 3-0 in their first home league match of the season.

RedRob72
I caught a snippet of Ronnie McFaul on the radio and he reckoned there was only 1 shot on target the whole game!It wasn’t THAT bad tbh JG, I’ve seen worse over here this year.2nd half perhaps not one for purists but the first 45 was watchable enough.Glens probably felt hard done by taking nothing from the game despite 2 gilt edged headed chances in the last 15 mins. Please to see the Blues snaffle all three points though and hopefully escaped without any serious knocks ( apart from wee Joel Cooper perhaps) given some very ‘agricultural’ challenges from the home side.

Co.Down Hibee
Dreadful match right enough, as AFJ mentioned croed was awful, remember the days of 12,000 att. ticket matches for those 2 ffs.
Audaces Fortuna Juvat
Glens achieved one aim in that they kicked Joel Cooper out of the game. Crowd was just over 4,500, which is very poor. It was a truly Shi'ite night but I doubt it would have topped 6,000 by much, even on a good night. As a game it suffered badly in comparison to Friday night's BBC televised cracker when the Crues beat the Reids 3-2.
