Torpar Posted August 20, 2018 Share Posted August 20, 2018 Just finished season 3 of this show, After following East Mississippi, a juco power house programme for the first two seasons, they moved to small town Kansas and followed the Independence Pirates, a team that were for years the whipping boys of the Jayhawk Conference. As with the first two season there are no shortage of characters and story lines. The white coach who grow up in Compton, the spoiled Florida State transfer QB, the redneck Centre who lived in his car, a record number of division 1 transfers. No Miss Wagner as the college is too small to have someone in her position but the English teacher at Indy comes pretty close. Again as with the first two seasons, it can be a frustrating, some very talented football players just can't seem to get it into their heads that it really is last chance for them. It did make me think the NFL pipeline system of High School - College - Pros is a little outdated. How many talented athletes are lost become they aren't academically gifted? It won't happen as college football is racking in money but the option to play and be drafted from a junior league, similar to ice hockey, would be good in my humble opinion Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
