Widge
Hopefully as good as our last signing from the Saints. That probably works for us too, so yeah go with that!

bomberharris
With Ziggy confirmed as away along with Killa we are in desperate need for some Centre backs! I hope Rice has a few targets 🤞 Think Easton & Alston are good signings though so bodes well . . .

Adults – £320 Concessions (o65s) – £150 Juveniles (u18s) – £38 Disabled & Carer – £150 Gold – £450 I think I've asked this every single year but what is the Gold season ticket? Has anyone on here ever got one? Also I think that is a slight increase on last year but I will be willing to pay it if it means they will open the wallet going into the transfer window or hold on to McGowan.

IIRC, when it was first introduced it got you a half time pie with a chance to warm up inside, and parking in the Morrisons underground car park (which isn't actually underground, but you know what I mean). But I didn't get one, because I need wide open spaces when I park
accies1874
Only two grounds I've not been to from the available teams, so EK and Stranraer please (EK midweek and Stranraer in the first game). Dumbarton and Morton as the other two. On Bateman's point: I don't think we took the Betfred seriously, but the players also weren't up to full speed so that certainly contributed to poor performances. Canning's remit was to keep us in the league and I don't blame him if he did prioritise that. I'd rather get to Hampden than have a season like, for example, the 17/18 one, but it isn't really in the club's best interests to do so. Canning was a wee bit unlucky with Scottish Cup draws - four of the last five were against Premiership sides - which didn't help either.
Im_Rodger
Canning literally said the Betfred Cup was pre season and all about getting the players fit. I await for Brian Rice's take on the competition.

Scotty Tunbridge
Alex Penny officially gone. Mental that we paid actual money for him.

I guess if that’s the market your in there will be a mixed bag.interesting to see what Rice does, already seems he’s looking closer to home for players. Maybe fewer, higher caliber signings and the rest from the academy? [emoji848]
FuzzyBear
The fact Miller could run without looking like a puppet was always going to go in his favour.
accies1874
So lads, two ex-Accies players in the Scotland squad. I don't think many of us were sad to see the back of Brophy, but it goes to show what good coaching can do. Devlin hasn't been great since his injury, but he's a player who I wish all the best to going forward. A top, top guy. The disappointing thing is that we probably got around £100K for the pair of them.
