It sure is but it's better playing these kind of teams as there is going to be a lot of hard games home and away, can't wait.
Belter1
Comfortable win for Tranent tonight. 4-1 but could have been a few more. Lothian had a couple of chances aswell with one hitting the bar.

Good win and hope it sets us up nicely for Saturday's opener against Nitten.

Belter1
Comfortable win today for the big T. Expected a tougher game but could easily have won by 10. Friendly against hibs development on Tuesday then a tough tie away to sauchie on sat.
Halfwit8
Disappointed with Gala , that's us played them 2 seasons on the trot in cupties and beat them with ease in both games. Edited August 17, 2019 by Halfwit8
Brainwaves
Very surprised at that result, no that Tranent are not good but hows a team like heriot watt in two divisions below with the tax dodger no back able to competer vs Tranent and Gala get spanked 6-0 at hame. Where heriot watt good?

Where heriot watt good? Heriot Watt played very well against Tranent , didn't try an press too much because they new they would get picked off , so they got their tactics right , where as Gala tried to press high and the Belters just picked them off. Who is the tax dodger ?

Had enough chances to kill the game but made hard work of it and they were always in the game.
BigTboy
Good win yesterday, thought it could have been more and Gala couldn’t have complained. They had a few missing seemly! Saying that no Hawkins, Rutherford or Black for the TJ’s. The early signs have been positive with all the new lads settling in well, still think we aren’t playing amazing but doing enough in games to pick up the win. Hard game this Saturday away to Sauchie never an easy venue to pick up 3 points.
Belter1
Agree and I think we can still step it up a few gears if we need to. Yesterday was a good performance and we seem to be creating plenty chances which is positive. Big Steve was MOTM for me. Could probably have got another 1 or 2 goals had he stayed on but the game was finished and other guys are needing game time so it was understandable taking him off.

The big man has been very good, nothing flashy but knows how to score goals. He works hard for the team, he will score easy double figures IMO if he stays fit. Looked like Calvin changed the formation yesterday and I thought it worked well!
Belter1
I think he’s scored every game so far. Hatrick on sat. Already on 6 for the season I think?

BigTboy
Sincerely hope Ben Miller is ok are a poor challenge from the big Hibs centre half! Standard of officials is so poor, he didn’t think it was a foul!! It was a straight leg and most probably put him out for a number of weeks/months. Young Bradley never appeared after the break neither after landing awkwardly after another heavy challenge, fingers crossed he’s ok for Saturday. Decent game against a very fit well organised Hibs youths. Big crowd circa 450 helping towards the floodlights fund. Fingers crossed the injured duo aren’t out for any length of time. Some of the new boys are starting to settle into the team nicely, Donaldson and Murphy with Hill in the middle are looking the part. The boy Jones is causing defenders the fear with his direct style and pace. Young Craig Reid has done well at left back considering it isn’t his natural position.

Sorry to read this news of the injury to Ben. Doesn’t sound good news, but hope Ben was a speedy recovery!
