Appalling for 20 minutes before a desperately dull 25 minutes. There's no intention of getting close to Motherwell, no intention of countering and the simplest of movement takes any of our players out the game.

Our best hope is two Motherwell red cards.

Accies pen was a handball, seemed pretty clear from where I'm sitting.

We don't look interested in the slightest, strolling around like it's a pre season friendly and letting Motherwell knock it about at their leisure. Very strange

No sure about stonewall, just replayed about 7 times on the stream and I don't see it at all. Arms are up but the ball looks like it goes straight by him.
From my angle the direction of the ball changed.

Will be interesting to see it on sportscene as the angles they had on this stream were different from where the ref or fans would be and not slowed down at all

The ball definitely brushed the top of Hartley's hand. Harsh penalty but by the new law it was the correct decision.

Agree. Hartley put his hands up to show he wasn't pushing and ended up getting caught out.

Still he looked decent enough and we looked more aggressive with him on the ball at the back. Plus he is still an absolute beast at set pieces.

Given how bad we were before the red + penalty, there is no way it altered the result.

McGowan as a LB and Stanger as a RB should never be seen again, and we're reliant on a 19-year-old winger to provide any attacking threat.

Motherwell won't have an easier win all season.

Onto our customary Tynecastle defeat.
