Motherwell FC - A Thread For All Seasons
MP_MFC replied to Casagolda's topic in Scottish Premiership General Chatter
What a segment handled so well. Amazing to see the footage of some of the play that day that was lost due to the tragedy but man it brought back a lot of the emotions. -
Curious to see how Sarwar thinks he’ll get 2/3 majority. What is clear though reading the live feed on the BBC is that the majority of media and English politicians have no idea how our parliament works.

Is it not the case that with the Scottish Parliament they literally can't just call an election, there are very specific rules on the length of terms and when the elections can take place? edited to add: aye, it can only be held every five years. Date of elections to the Scottish Parliament The Scotland Act 1998 sets out the procedures for the holding of Scottish Parliament elections. Section 2 requires a Scottish Parliament election to be held on the first Thursday in May in the fifth calendar year following the previous Scottish Parliament election. There are a number of possible situations in which it might prove necessary for the date of a scheduled Scottish Parliament election to change. One possibility is that a UK Parliament General election is called on the date in question. Under the Scotland Act, this would automatically require a new date to be arranged for the Scottish Parliament election. The Dissolution and Calling of Parliament Act 2022 means that a UK Parliamentary election can be announced at short notice on the decision of the Prime Minister (25 working days following the proclamation dissolving the existing Parliament). Other possible examples that might require a change in date include a public health emergency or major security incident. The Presiding Officer of the Scottish Parliament has a limited power to propose a new date for the poll for a Scottish Parliament election which is not more than one month before or after the first Thursday in May.

Standard Hearts against Rangers -
Dishing out 10 second penalties like sweets here
-
Ye cannae concede there. Unreal.
-
There were no ads in the first episode for me but in all but one of the rest there were either one or two 10 second ads for another Prime show. Sadly none for Nuka Cola.
-
And it just got funnier.
-
SQ3 is some giggle.

Yeah I had that issue on chrome last week too. Cleared cookies and cache and it seems to have fixed it.

Not the first time a 6-1 at Ibrox broke them. It was 6-1, right? That's what Clement said? -

I think he's...fine? Not a world beater, but better than any of our previous dips into the LOI and a damn sight better than Ricki Lamie as a left sided centre back - if we could get a guaranteed better player then fine I'd take the upgrade and keep him for the squad, but for our level his attributes are fine, he can hit a set piece and loves a screamer. All hail Blaney Shane.
