Smokerson Posted October 29, 2019 Share Posted October 29, 2019 Thought that was a very difficult watch, we were below par, probably the poorest we’ve been certainly from an attacking point of view. There was actually a point in the second half where it became a game of headers, dreadful stuff from both teams. would’ve been interesting to keep it at 1.0 going into the closing stages as I think Dunfermline would’ve been really nervous given their poor start to the season but the second goal made the game quite comfortable. Lichtie78 Posted October 29, 2019 Share Posted October 29, 2019 Anyone getting themselves into a state over other fans calling us shit needs a bit of a reality check and to stop taking things so personally, we set up to win games 1-0 and grind out results and it’s by and large not very pretty. Gaston has been far from convincing, and is certainly no better than Jamieson. His distribution is chronic and he’s never sure whether he’s coming or going at cross balls. JT had one of his poorer games and got injured making a needless foul. Stirlings kamikaze positioning when he came on is worrying given he’s our backup RB.Thought Ricky Little was all over the place at Dunfermline’s second, but will need to see that back as someone on here said it was our RB (can’t mind if JT was off by that point) that was at fault.Wasn’t a fan of us making those changes in centre midfield, but if it was due to Whatley & Gold carrying knocks then I’d rather have them fully fit for Saturday. Murphy played a few nice balls but overall was poor, and Campbell was rotten. Miko was lively in the first half but faded after his booking and should also be banned from shooting. McKenna isn’t a winger and really struggled tonight. Fantastic to see LD15 further cementing his place as our best striker, but my god it’s painful watching Spence and Doris.
