Bring Back Paddy Flannery
6 hours ago, southernboy said: Not for the first time I feel as if I must have been watching elsewhere today. I thought Robert Jones was one of our best players, especially in the first half when nothing much else was happening. He worked hard, held up well and laid off to others a number of times. If anything the problem was that he was pretty isolated with our usual gap between forwards and midfield. JD clearly realised this an Carsy was further forward in the second. Hopefully too the return of JP and/ or young Hamilton should help with this. I’m sure you are capable of better performances, Robert.
O'Kelly Isley III
To be honest I didn't think there was much to choose between Jones and Johnstone yesterday; both of them look to hold the ball in and look for runners to play off them, only we didn't have any. I'd be interested in seeing Wilson start with one of them, he looks to have pace and an instinct to run at defenders.
