Guest Joe The Bairn !!
Your sound card will have a Set-up folder or two Try checking under Control Panel > Sounds & Audio > Audio Under the audio tab you may need to select the "Advanced" tab and have a look in there

ALL HÚNS 'n' TIMS ARE SCUM
Not that many true copies of XP out there, most people have images of the PC they bought. Why do want Audio anyway? Use your Hi-fi. Have you tried this 1 Open Device Manager. 2 Double-click Sound, video and game controllers, right-click your sound device, and then click Properties. 3 Under Device usage, make sure that "USE this device (enable)" is selected. 4 Click OK. Wilson2606
Come on there must be someone out there who knows how to fix my problem Do your USB ports work? If not, I think something on your motherboard might have blown. I had this problem a few months ago and had to get someone to come out to fix it.
