Maybe if he continues on his path for another year he might get more of a realease. The woman seemed to have a good understanding of her offence, seemed to feel shame and remorse. She had an understanding of her issues and what would be challanging, which is going to be half the battle. She thought alcohol might be a trigger but if she realises it she can work to avoid it. Absconding from jail in 2019 screwed him. Twice he was on the run from the law, living off break-ins. Had they let him out he'd have been right back at it. He came across well enough but they make a good point - he's been a very, very good boy for a few months before his hearing.
