Partick Thistle vs. Dundee - 18/3/2023

Point wouldn't be disastrous here if Caley hold on to their win against QP.

This is probably the hardest fixture we have left of the season. That half was far from inspiring stuff but as a whole, it's going well so far. A win would be absolutely massive though which would require a big second half

If we played this exact same system and formation, but replaced McGhee, Williamson, and Cameron with Byrne, Gowser, and Mulligan, I could see it actually working and the performances being totally different. I get Bowyer doesn't fancy Byrne, and there's more than meets the eye to Gowser being shifted, but it really makes me question Bowyer's judgement if he thinks moving them on/dropping them and replacing them with this tripe is an improvement.

His refusal to play Mulligan through the middle is infuriating. Even given the illness in the squad, it's not even necessary to play him at RB today because McGhee could do that while Byrne sits in front of the back 4 and lets Mulligan do the thing he's best at, i.e. driving forward with the ball.

I'd happily take a point regardless of performance provided we can beat Ayr on Tuesday, but the fact it's all 'ifs buts and maybes' is shite.

Think this is a good point by Cran. I'd be very annoyed at Bowyer if we're in a position where one of them get sent off. Completely avoidable and could help rejig the team:

Much better opening spell from us. But then Partick Thistle squander a good chance and then force a good save from Legzdins FFS.

Has to be remembered that Partick Thistle have conceded 1 goal in their past 6 (including today so far) games and that was in the game against us at Dens.

Can’t see anything wrong with the halfway line ? Maybe your tv needs adjusting

I saw something else entirely.

Ok, maybe it's just the entire Colin Weir Stand that is 5 yards too far to the left then.

I can't unsee that. Offsets are normal but that's huge.
