Turns out it was:

Broomhill didn’t really turn up, unfortunately, and then after the (fairly soft) penalty and red, that was game over.

Samuel did well and I’m intrigued to see if he’s put in a two with Billy or if he’s a solo striker that gets 30mins or a rotation when Billy tires. No finesse in his play, but plenty of energy and physicality. Duffy, Anderson, Gilmour were all pretty good. Longstaff was again anonymous, where he was playing as left wing back.

Roll on an away day to Bonnyrigg please!

I think he will start along with Billy. Maybe Billy more in the role Doran was in as Samuel looked quite keen to try and run in behind.

Samuel did well. Still don't see him being a huge goal threat. But think he'd be capable of opening up space for others with breaking through defences in the championship.

Duffy and Longstaff don't really offer much in getting the ball into good positions. Hope Furgason sees that now. Being close to the dugouts yesterday, could hear Dunc telling Longstaff off for coming too deep, every time a move started on the left which was pleasing.

Doran and MacGregor back good too. And should give us a bit of a boost in creativity.

Thompson got on, and struggled to make much of an impression. Think Anderson was supposed to be further forward from the start but didn't do much. And Carson went more advanced when he went off, which was a big improvement.
