HibeeJibee
Season being done thought I'd look up what clubs had won EOS honours over last 6yrs and results surprised me. No fewer than 23 clubs have won a trophy; but only Bo'ness Athletic have won more than 3; and just Linlithgow, Tynecastle and Whitburn more than 2; while only Heriot-Watt Uni have won the same trophy twice (pair of King Cup successes). Borders the sole area not to have lifted an honour. 5 Bo'ness Athletic (D2, D3; LC, AJ, CW) 3 Linlithgow (PD; QC, LC) 3 Tynecastle (D1; AJ, CW) 3 Whitburn (D2, DX; CC) 2 Bo'ness Utd (PD; LC) 2 Camelon (AJ, CW) 2 Dunipace (D1; SC) 2 Heriot-Watt Uni (KC x2) 2 Hutchison Vale (D1; LC) 2 Kelty (L; KC) went on to win SPFL2, LL x2 2 Luncarty (AJ, CW) 2 Musselburgh (AJ, CW) 2 Tranent (PD; KC) went on to win LLC 1 Bonnyrigg (PD) went on to win LL 1 Broxburn (PD) also topped Conf C in 2018-19 but lost title round-robin 1 Crossgates (AJ) 1 Dunbar (D1) 1 Haddington (D1) 1 Inverkeithing (QC) 1 Lochore (KC) 1 Oakley (D1) 1 Sauchie (LC) 1 West Calder (D3) + Penicuik topped Conf A in 2018-19 but lost title round-robin

I thought Oakley and Haddington were Conference League winners, with the actual Division then formed from the conference placings. Have I been told duff again? I suppose in a strict sense both are correct but clearly Haddington/etc. won't be going around claiming to be both First Division and Conference A champions as if it were 2 honours - as it was a single achievement. There was due to be a 2-leg playoff for the overall First Division title at the end of 2019-20 between the 2 inter-conference winners, but obviously the emergency sunk that (tables were declared on PPG but no playoffs were possible) - so joint champions. Due again in 2020-21 but of course entire season was abandoned null-&-void. It was then given-up as an idea. If you're talking physical silverware, then back in 2018-19 the 3 conference winners lifted one off awards (plates or shields IIRC which they have kept); with Bonnyrigg alone lifting the Premier Division trophy courtesy of a subsequent title round-robin. Indeed a highly dramatic affair.

Indeed a highly dramatic affair. Don’t think I will ever see a game as dramatic as the Broxburn v Bonnyrigg game. Had just about everything on the park and off it. League winners at one point were: - Bonnyrigg (0-0) Penicuik (1-0 Broxburn) Broxburn (2-0 Broxburn) Penicuik (2-1 Broxburn) Then finally Bonnyrigg (2-2 and 3-2 Bonnyrigg) Edited June 3 by Blowin In the Wind
