My gut feeling is that Threave v Cumnock will get moved to NWCC. Lochar 0/4 so far, with Threave needing the win to keep ahead of Giffnock before next week's showdown. Section 11 sees Gretna travel up to Ayrshire. Game is being played in Ayr as opposed to New Cumnock. Gretna after 2 straight defeats to Maryhill will be looking to taste victory once more. Section 9 Lochar 2-4 Threave Giffnock 4-2 Cumnock So next Friday will see a shootout between Threave and Giffnock either at Meadow Park or the Campus, Giffnock need a win in 90mins to top the group any other result will keep Threave in 1st place. Threave would probably take one of the spots if they fall to Giffnock. Gretna will need to defeat Kilsyth Ath. to have any chance of progressing. Gretna looking to keep a positive momentum before their League journey begins. Section 9 has Lochar up in Cumock hoping to get some positivity out of a disappointing section. Threave entertain Giffnock in a winner takes all tie at Meadow Park; well not quite a draw will suffice the CD weans. I attended the equivalent match last season when Lanark u20's were the visitors, funnily enough with exact same scenario. It was one of the best games I attended all last season. Why, I have no input. Anyway 2 of our clubs are I action tomorrow evening. Lochar are at the Campus entertaining Newmains United and Threave make the winding trip up the 74 then A71 to Shotts to face off against Bon Accord.
