Theroadlesstravelled Posted Friday at 21:23 Share Posted Friday at 21:23 Gilmour didn't seem like a Conte player tbh. It's usually strapping 6 footers only for him.
MarkoRaj Posted yesterday at 09:44 Share Posted yesterday at 09:44 They were very deep. Might have to bide his time but I'm convinced it was the right move for him Lobotka was really good at winning the ball back yesterday. You'd hope that Gilmour can force his way past Anguissa who doesn't really offer much on the ball

MarkoRaj
Watched the first hour of Watford v Boro. Watford were absolutely brutal in that time. Sat so deep for a home side and offered relatively little on the counter Doak was subbed at 1-0 and both sets of fans on Twitter seem to agree that this was the turning point. That plus the positive subs that Watford made around the same time. From the perspective of someone who was only watching Doak and Porteous really, it was frustrating to watch Doak play against a really deep block with players doubling up on him, only for him to get hooked after they took the lead when the game might have opened up and offered him space to run into. He's still raw but he had a decent game. He really needs someone to take advantage of the space that he creates by dragging players out of position to cover him. He's also great going back, a few well timed tackles and he fair puts himself about for his size. Porteous had a decent game
