Guest BerwickRadge
Clydebank vs Vale of Leven?? That should be a big crowd, probably bigger than anything in the 3rd Division that day... C'mon the Bankies!!!
PtB
Last season's league match pulled almost 600 at Glenhead so hopefully with the attraction of it being the Scottish Cup we can get it up to the 900 mark. Problem is we've only been at home once in 9 weeks, and only played twice in that period thanks to the weather and missing crossbars so it might be a tad harder to get people back into the swing again. Still, we've a nice wee game at Yoker to contend with this week first!!! Clydebank vs Vale of Leven?? That should be a big crowd, probably bigger than anything in the 3rd Division that day... PtB
We were due to play Shettleston a few weeks before xmas away from home. Less than 3 hours before kick off we get a call saying someone had "stolen" one of the crossbars. It's been no secret that they've struggled to field a team at times and they've been pretty poor(lost 8-1 today). Apparently the bar was found within the gorund just over an hour after the game was meant to have kicked off. Imagine that.......... Missing cross-bars?? Where did you leave them then? I blame the CIA and those dodgy flights into Edinburgh & Prestwick Airports... ...wouldn't it just have been easier to get the game postponed because they couldn't field a team?? That way Shettleston don't look like a bunch of knobs!!
Bankie
Because the league would not let them away with it-this is a "valid" excsuse for calling a game off.
PtB
Clydebank vs Vale of Leven will now be played at Vale's Millburn Park due to our landlords having a home cup tie and no alternative venues being available.
