Haitch
Two for me today. Both each way. The Bear 2.40 Carlisle @ 16/1 - really like this horse. 5f specialist and will win his fair share. Blast out of the stalls, in running price quickly down to 5.0 - where you could easily lay off your stake. Hoping it can hang on for another win today. Approve 2.50 York @ 11/1 - top rated on OR after winning group 2 norfolk stakes in June. Too big a price to ignore today. Both odds guaranteed.
Nick_BCFC
top 3 at 1/5th of the price, for example,if it wins at 10/1 and you have £10 e/w you will get 10x10=110(stake back also) and 1/5 of 10/1(2/1)=30(stake back also),but if it is 2nd or 3rd you would only get the 1/5th hope it makes sense So say this one today then I have £10 each way at 16/1 (though I didn't write the price on my slip). If he's first it'd be 16x10=£170(stake back also) + £32 (the 1/5 of stake) & £32 if its 2nd or 3rd? I guess i'm wrong and have misunderstood here because if I put £10 on a £16/1 then it'd be £170 return would it not? Therefore making each way a better pay out then if he was just on to win? I'm confused! Anyhow, not that it'll matter in the end. It probably has 2 legs and two heads.
Adam_Wee
I've had a wee punt on Nick's horse as well as it was at 27's on Betfair.

Haitch
I'm also on Itzakindamagic - would be gutted if it came in and I missed out. £2 @ 34.0 win and £3 at 4.2 place.

Thanks Well there are a couple of runners today at Carlisle that are booked in for Mussleburgh on Sunday. Watch the 2.40 and in particular The Bear (I have already backed it today) and Riveloux World - if they run well today they may be worth backing again on Sunday before the handicapper gets to them.

Haitch I could kiss you, I saw that 2 minutes before the race started and though "he looks like he knows his onions, I'll stick a few bob E/W on the two of them". Got The Bear at 16s and Approved at 12s. 20 minutes later £8 is now £44.80 Edit: Gave you both my green dots for today as well you loveable rogue.
