LiviClyde
There are some sports which I reckon just don't led themselves to live spectating, but attract huge crowds - Why? What am I missing? 1. Car Rallies - stand in a forrest getting eaten by midgies or soaked, to watch cars scream past for about 3 seconds per car - Wow! 2. F1 - much the same, but you get to sit in a stand and might see more of the track. 3. Snooker - you might be lucky enough to get a decent view of the table, but you won't appreciate the angles! 4. Cricket - well it's cricket -it's more stimulating watching paint dry. 5 Golf - Again you only get a very limited piece of the action. No doubt lots of you will come on here and tell me it's about experiencing the atmosphere, especially the petrolheads, but I don't buy it. I'd much rather watch the above (except cricket) on TV. Ade Eyemond
Ice hockey is a great sport to watch, either live or on tv. In your opinion. Personally, I think it`s dull, due to it being very difficult to follow where the puck is a lot of the time.

Guest Guinness_Alan
I was going to say darts and snooker but they're not sports. They're just pub games. 5. Long distance running - really boring. 4. Golf - I just don't see the point of golf at all. 3. Tour de France - they cycle for hours then have a sprint finish! Why don't they just do the sprint bit? The rest is just boring. 2. American football - typical Americans. Invent their own "sports" so they can call themselves world champions. 1. Motor sports - just don't see the point in going.
