  1. Excellent, will be nice to see a few away supporters at Dalbeattie
  2. Totally agree with you Out of interest will you be bringing many down on the Saturday?
  3. Thorough, club reports tend to be a bit one-sided, good to hear a fairly neutral view of things. Totally dislike particuarly on social media when its Wullie passes to Screechy who scores and Spongebob gets booked for over celebrating. who are these people?? Maybe i'm just getting old. 15.00 suits me, hope it stays that way, but second leg a Friday night? Could be the clubs biggest game of the season come-on! Surely they could have got a weekend game somehow. Were the clubs been consulted? I'm not biased, would think the same if Broxburn had to come down here on a Friday night. Unless there is a secret TV deal on the offing
  4. Firstly, i hope the horses are ok? I didn't go either, was relying on your thorough match report. Shame you have retired from football, first thing this morning i booked you in to hospitality for the Broxburn game. Oh deer!
  5. Remember if Creetown win, Don't be Stupid Never asked the committee and don't know any of the players or coaching staff but being in the South is better than the Lowland, The Lowland is good if you are competitive but nothing beats winning on a regular basis. The last season in the Lowland was punishing
  6. His picture was on the front page of the Courier years ago for line dancing, can't remember why, maybe won a competition or a free night at the top of Govan Road, impressive if he did. Watching Shania Twain, now that don't impress me much. Tomorrow night, basically can't be bothered, The ground is suppose to hold 500, if anything near that turn out, good forecast as well, hell knows what it will be like. Probably have to park miles away, queue to get in, the stand about 5 deep and no doubt being a wee fellow i'll be stuck behind a bunch of 6 foot plus teenagers who will spend the 90 minutes playing on there phones and having a fly vape. Only been to 4 Star away games this season so i would feel a bit awkward about suddenly turning up at the biggest game of the season. Very much a case of seen it done it over the years.
  7. i, what was he Scottish Champion or something similar?
  8. Don't think these are set in stone, did't know 18th was the home leg, May 25th is also cup final day
  9. 18th and 24/25th may, top of page 11 of this thread
  10. It was a country and western festival in early september for years but think it stopped and now seems to be a Ceilidh earlier in the year. Strangely enough the whipping was outside the Ellangown where scenes from the Wickerman were filmed. Surely you have been to an Agricultural Show? that will be an eye opener for a city boy
  11. Saturday the 4th seems logical but it is the country and western festival at Creetown that weekend, last time i went past when it was on there was a big marquee on the pitch. There were even cowboys whipping each other on the main street. Dolly Parton is bigger than the SOSFL. https://creetowncountryceilidh.co.uk/ being a Central Belt boy see what you have missed out on
  12. Anybody that was there at the Thursday night game and stupid enough to crawl up to there boss to get a day's holiday to go to the saturday game should get in for free. TBF i was expecting it to be tuesday, the pitch would probably need work done after the rodeo and the line dancing at the weekend.
  13. I've still got a 1990 British Supercup at Knockhill t-shirt i sometimes wear. In my teenage years in the 80's every second birthday i would get a Scotland strip, never threw them out, the 82 one is a bit tight but the rest still fit me. The one stroke of genius thing i've ever done in life.
