The passing has always been there IMO. He's had quite a few assists in big games that Shinnie just doesn't have in his locker.
He doesn't have the determination or mental aspect of the game that Shinnie has though. Nothing like it.
I was impressed with his ability to win the ball high in the opposition half earlier in the season. I think that's how we'll play next season too.
FWIW, Shinnie was fantastic at this last night. I've always said we should utilise him there, or in front of the back four screening this season. Unfortunately, Barry run him in to the ground in the box to box role that he couldn't do twice a week.
