Stopped at the services in Kinross the other night, and a guy came out of the building with a cockatoo sitting on his shoulder, got in his car and drove off with the bird still sitting on his shoulder. Weird.

    I was waiting for a punchline there😄

Don’t have experience of it so can’t help but the government’s approach to everything post brexit is to desperately try and avoid anyone not British from doing anything and have completely ignored how much of a pain in the arse they are creating for the vast majority who shouldn’t need to prove their identity every 5 minutes.   The amount of times a job is delayed because someone who has maybe left Britain for 2 weeks in their entire life but need to hunt down documents to prove their right to work is an absolute joke.

That rant didn't answer his question.

Appreciate the sentiment (I share it to some degree).

But those two teams just don't deserve the swagger they've had in the last decade.

You get plenty teams who get zero attention but williams in particular seem to get particularly favourable coverage even now despite being largely rubbish.

I'll admit to a love of Williams and Mansell and McLaren Lauda Prost and Senna. These teams and drivers are who got me into F1 in the 1980's. I love the fact McLaren are big in Indycar in the US thanks to Zac Brown who comes across as a decent guy. I'm probably in the minority here but nothing new there.

We won't see you next season that's how. You will be relegated and we'll be promoted. Let that sink in!

Funny to see the drug addled maggots crawling out the woodwork for the first time in years after a meaningless friendly🤣  Having said that I still don't regret throwing a wad into their buckets many years ago to save them going bust.

I think we can safely agree that Shane van Gisbergen is the best all round driver in the world at the moment....put him in any car and he's going to be competitive from the get go.

    Outstanding weekend from SVG!!

    P&B in a nutshell.

I really liked the last episode. Tied everything up nicely and I might have had something in my eye by the end.

It does well for Apple so wouldn't surprise me if it comes back at some point but I'm hoping they leave it at that.

My final thoughts are that I really enjoyed series 1. Series 2 a bit less and series 3 was the weakest although the Amsterdam episode was terrific. I'm certanly no prude by any means but did find certain scenes where Roy Kent would be effing and blinding in front of young children a bit uncomfortable. It didn't seem to fit with the general themes of goody goody characters and lightweight 'inclusive' storylines suited for American audiences. Having said that i'm glad I stuck with it but not fussed if that's the end.

I don’t tend to answer the phone to numbers I don’t recognise - if it’s important, they’ll leave a message.

I don’t think it’s rude to just say ‘sorry, I’m not interested’. Far better that than string them along on some hilarious wind up.

My thoughts exactly. I also never answer my landline phone as it's always cold callers and when I check the numbers when deleting later it's never anyone I know.

That's probably me for about a decade now, as I've seen them in '93, '00, '11 and '23.

Can't wait to see 80 year old Nicko on the 2032 tour 😄

I first saw them in 1980 with Paul Di'Anno then a couple of tours after that with Dickinson then just drifted away from them for no particular reason. Great to see them still going strong.

Going to the black keys tomorrow night at the ovo. Any recommendations for pubs close by for before and after?

Argyle st at the top of Finnieston St there is plenty of choice. Sat out in the sunshine at Lebowskies the other night.
