Here’s one to reinvigorate the “Putin has cancer/stroke/heart disease” lines.
Patriarch Kirill invited the clergy and believers to "pray for health" Vladimir Putin for two days.

Killie only give the old firm one stand now
made a big difference at game against Celtic after game, when we did not have to meet a stand full when we were exiting stadium

Got an “Alex Dyer” feeling about this appointment

What are Killie going to do when half their squad is missing suspended for game 6?
Today we had 17 fouls and 6 bookings. rangers had 13 fouls and zero bookings. Welcome back to the Scottish Premiership and its fair and unbiased officials...
We don't play rangers for a bit, so we will be fine

0-1 to Killie

....Including 2000+ Dundee United fans. You had better attendances last season
1600 united fans to be exact
only game we had bigger attendance last season was the Arbroath game….that’s when we won the league…

Talking of needing a creative player, it looks like McInroy was playing on the left today for Killie, what a waste.
Good to see you following McInroys progress.
He had a great game today. Played left wing back and created loads
Looks a player

Given most Killie fans think they'll get top 6 with a squad not improved from last season, where they needed a late goal to secure promotion against a part-time side, then being called delusional by a Killie fan is like being called a liar by Boris Johnson.
Who are all these Killie fans that think we’ll get top 6?

The strongest part of Liam Donnelly's game is he's injured most of the time.
That’s grass pitches for you. Will be fine on our surface

I wouldn’t be surprised if he signs for Killie. McInnes has a history of signing lower league or bottom premiership players and developing them.
Adeloye would not be on much money and may be worth the gamble

It doesn't need to be in instalments in the conventional sense. Lots of payment providers (PayPal, Klarna etc.) allow it. The club gets their money in a lump as they do now but you can pay it up with the provider. There will be a fee but worldpay charge a fee as well. If the fee is significantly higher then add it to the price.
These type of interest free providers typically take about 20% of the amount you pay as fees

Surprisingly being in South Ayrshire appears to have been part of the problem, never in the 25 years or so that I’ve seen have we had as much as a positive word from our local Council never mind any practical support.
Think they specialise in letting everyone down. Not just local football teams…

Absolute guess work but might even be different deadlines as McInroy is technically a new signing as a free agent so could be more likely to keep his options open for longer.
Has McInroy been released by Celtic?

I actually love the idea of the community club and making a difference to the town, we all want to win cups and be in the prem but it sounds like Smith, Mathie and Co are trying to leave a legacy of bringing the club and the town back together something that has been lacking for far far to long.
If i was to sit with Mathie and give him a bit of advice on where to take Ayr, i would suggest a couple of things…Copy Killie!
We have much more historical involvement with the community and areas around Kilmarnock. We have good support from the town, but have supporters historically in the surrounding towns such as Mauchline, Irvine valley, three towns and stewarton. Ayr need to get more support from smaller south Ayrshire towns, though i know they tend to spend the blue pound!
Get more females/families in. If you are lucky enough to be at Rugby Park for a home game, you will see families and females with kids making up a good % of the crowd, and also then our away support. They go into the hotel a few hours before game and stay after. Somerset to me seems a 10 to 3 till 5 O’Clock experience . Maybe the hub will change that . From a video of the first game of the season on YouTube about 99% of crowd seemed male on north terrace. RP has a far higher % of female attendees. (Sorry if appears sexist, but an observation!)
My business is in South Ayrshire, and have lots of customers that support you guys so would love you to be up in top league, as long as we are too!
Good luck for next season, and i hope next time we meet in league, its in the premier and we can get some Saturday games, , though signing up half your team on three year deals, after struggling to 8th is a risky/brave strategy!

Rather lazily I see Kevin Thomson is being linked today
He was interviewed for the Killie job when McInnes was appointed.
He came across really well and impressed the Killie board, unlucky not to get job.
To be fair these were his words , not any inside info at RP!

I didn’t pay too much attention to the championship last season until we lost against Dundee…
Not trawling..How did you guys end up with peter grant? Always thought it was a crap appointment..Who was manager before and why did he leave or was he sacked?
good luck in playoffs

Much as I'm glad that I'll be able to watch this game on the telly while I'm working, for me it seems like a bit of a non-event to show given the events of last Friday night. They'd be as well showing Ayr v Partick Thistle or Dunfermline v Queens given the unwanted playoff place is still up for grabs.
It’s because the tv deal has 2 home games per club over the season. This is Raith’s second game
Won’t be a non event. Will be a party…

Looking forward to our last championship game, hopefully forever!
glad nothing riding on this as we have been guff on friday night travels. Hopefully we can relax ans play like we have done at home recently.

I see that Sneddon equaled two Partick Thistle clean sheet records yesterday…
A clean sheet next week would make him Particks record holder of overall clean sheets in a season, and a single league campaign
So extra incentive for a clean sheet...
