Why do you watch Rangers TV? Is it do with the half and half scarves?
I work in South Ayrshire. Every ayr fan i deal with has a big team they really support….
I’m sure they all have subscription to Rangers TV

Kilmarnock just working their way through ex-St Johnstone managers then.
Good luck with Callum Davidson in 12 months.
Does Callum not have a 4 year contract, so maybe in 2026….

I know it's a commonly used phrase to say that a big centre forward can "bully" a poor centre back. But there were points today when McGinty and Fjortoft were literally bouncing off of Innes Cameron like dummies. That's on the few occasions when they actually got close enough to him. Caught under the ball, out of position, unable to communicate to each other from start to finish. An impressive level of incompetence.
That sounds like Cameron’s performance at Rugby Park in the first game of the season, he ragdolled Ayrs centre defence all night
It was probably the most any of our strikers have dominated a game all season.
He’s a good player at this level.

So was Fowler involved in the decision to sack Wright or was it just Bowie's?
That would be fun!
Bowie I would imagine

Good shout forgot about Fowler.
Fowler was Ross’s assistant at Sunderland.
He would now be his boss, not sure it would sit right with Ross…

The pub will help to buy the competent midfielders , the cost of the pub has nothing to do with this years budget , and it’s the pub the fans have been asking for for many years ,
Is the pub open on match days or 7 days a week?
The assumption may be that it will make money. Killie have tried various things at Rugby Park with the Sports bar and Killie Club, but not made any profit since they opened. It is now where the club shop is located and we have given up on a bar at the ground other than the ones in the Park Hotel.

If that is true, then he needs to be punted ASAP
I recall that Hamilton were first talking to Ross County about Shaw, but when Killie showed interest he wanted to join us.
Shaw scored a fair number of goals last season in top league, so I don’t believe any championship manager would not want him

Agree to an extent. The Championship has invariably been decided by who has the biggest budget.
This is probably linked to squad size. Bigger budget means more players of a good standard for the championship.Apparently we have squad with two players for each position. As season runs and games come quick and fast, players get injured/suspended/ out of form, bigger squads have more option to change things,
Killie have larger gates, more sponsors and people used to paying more at games…. As an example, we pay £5 for a pie and bovril at RP. Think it was £3 odds at Somerset last week. Multiply that by few thousand supporters and it adds up. I have business in Ayrshire and advertising for boards at ground is 3-4 times more at Rugby Park than Somerset. Sponsors are used to paying higher premier league prices even in championship. Challenge for us is to get up and justify higher costs, while Ayr have to raise level of income to our level and fund the push to get up

I have just registered for PPV expecting it to be a pretty slick operation. I have logged in but can’t see any drop down to purchase this specific match. The message I see is ........match going live in a few hours but no purchase option????
It must be an Ayrshire thing - only match I couldn’t get was Ayr vQueens. In hindsight probably a good thing and this may also be a good one to miss but I would prefer to watch (perhaps from behind the couch).
Any help would be appreciated?Comes on about 30 mins before kick off, with full commentary from John Barnes (Ex BBC) and a guest or two, usually one with links to away team.
I find it a good balanced commentary when i have listened to it

For sake of completeness besides the already mentioned clubs you also find yourself in the company of Inverness Athletic (NCL - tier 6) & Royal Albert (WOSL Conference B - tier 7) for winless teams in the pyramid.
Who are they playing at weekend…

I dunno. It's hard to say at this point in time. Usually I'd agree but with Inverness and Raith going at it, hard to call.
Honestly, this wasn't a great Kilmarnock team tonight. Though I agree on Ayr not getting relegated.
Time will tell. Wait and see. I don't think killie will win it.
Squad depth will get us through…IMHO
will have rebuild for next year

It's mind boggling to me that Houston was stripped and ready to come on for a clearly done McAllister then got sat back down, unless he was only on the bench to make up numbers anyway.
Strange game - thought Killie looked absolutely rotten at the back and their keeper flapped a few cross balls first half, yet they have only conceded 7 in 11 games so obviously doing something right. We offer very little going forward though. Need O Connor back fit and somehow get him, Bradley, Adeloye and Afolabi in same team
He had two flaps i remember in first half. Then Murray had clear header about 60 mins in at corner and he was up before ball got to him. Was wind…! It was swirling and he misjudged his jump, probably same way Hemming did in first half

I don't see Ayr getting relegated, also don't see Kilmarnock getting instant promotion. Play offs me thinks.
Half a season left. Wait and see
We will win league, ayr wont get relegated.
put £50 on it and it will pay your season ticket next year!

We were seeing out a draw, any changes could have jeopardised that, as bad as we were going forward, Kilmarnock were worse in defence.
We sat in to deep when perhaps going for the throat may have been the better option. Defending the 18 yard box and playing long balls barely in to the same post code as Adeloye was our only plan for the last 30 minutes and any chances we did have were from mistakes in their defence. We needed a change in midfield but there was no one we could have brought on.
If McCallister had taken a booking on the half way line or we had played an any way decent cross in to the box, we'd have had at least a draw tonight.
I was in west stand and you got deeper and deeper as game went on.
McAllister and Muirhead were done. Should have made changes if you had others on bench

Killie won at the end of the day though in fairness, a very poor game. I'm certain Kilmarnock will at least atmit that.
We took a neutral tonight and he enjoyed game.
I enjoyed. First thirty ayr’s route 1 worked but no real threat. We came into game a bit. Second half we looked good when we maintained possession.
Ayr looked like a squad of 11 players, all on pitch. Nothing on bench to try and change…but worse squads in league.. so I should stay up OK

I thought we played OK disappointing 2nd half showed we need someone up with tomi as he can't do it on his own at top of pitch but good to see a full capacity crowd tonight shame most of the fans only turn up for big games and hopefully it's another 28 years at least before killie are able to win at Somerset
Hopefully we get promoted this year and never have to play league game at Somerset again!
