I have no idea about Spence, other than he looks absolutely fucking thrilled to be signing for County.

I’m all in on the Kenny van Der Weg cult. He’s awful, but god have mercy on anyone who puts a late tackle in on Gardyne or Mullin. And I think the team needs that.

I hope this doesn’t mean an extended run for Draper at centre half.

I think in signing Spence it all but confirms Draper will be playing in defence for the remainder of the season, not terrible but a waste of a player tbh.

You're apparently about to sign Lewis Spence. Good wee midfielder, certainly a battler. Most Dees don't have much bad to say about him. Not good enough for the top flight, not even close, but a battler and will give 100% every week without fail.

I wonder if us allowing him to go to you could be seen as some sort of makeweight for Fraser, perhaps?

I've also seen that you've rejected a bid from us for Gardyne. He still half decent?

After Fraser's display against Morton I think there's a number of fans willing to drive him down to Dundee personally.

  3. It's a new season, and the first major race, the Daytona 24hr is less the a month away.  The living embodiment of never giving up, Alex Zanardi, is racing  in the Rahal BMW GT entry.  The car has been  developed so he uses hand controls with a special steering wheel for accelerating and a large handbrake-like lever for braking.  However one of the big challenges is the driver change....well during the "Roar Before the 24" they practiced, and nailed down the driver change.

Martin Woods has been offered a new deal.

Generally, you have my deepest sympathies....

First rumour that I've been text is Jim O'Brien. He's being released by Bradford and is a McIntyre staple. I'd be quite happy with him.

meh, he'll run around and occasionally hit an absolute screamer but there are games he will just disappear in.

Craig Curran signing soon according to Tam Mcmanus.

I like Curran but last season he was poor from the start of the season, this may be due to the manager at the time playing him as a lone striker when his pace had clearer gone and desperately needed someone to play alongside.

So he should be ok, as long as you don't have McIntyre.......oh.........awkward.

Deid battery. There's enough juice to run lights but not enough to start the car.

If you really want to be sure a £5 multimeter should show you voltage.

Yeah it was a completely dud battery, for some reason .

Reminds me of calling the AA out when I had Home Start, with a similar problem. He tested the battery, bit dubiously flashed a few buttons to show it was fucked, and sold me a new battery on the spot and installed it. Think I tried unsuccessfully tried to charge it beforehand. Cost a bit more than going to Halfords and carrying a battery home on the bus, but not much more. Sorted the car out.

I got the local garage out, unfortunately as my car has that stop/start technology there is a specific battery for that, which pushed the cost up a bit.

So my car, a 1.5 Nissan Pulsar, has decided it didn't want to start this evening....which has put a bit a dampner of things tbh.
Whenever I push the ignition button (I know, I know.....it's childish but I like it) the dashboard flashes a couple of times along with the lights but the engine doesn't turn over.  The electrics come on (Radio, interior and exterior lights etc) so despite the technical ineptitude of the driver, I want to say the battery is fine, but I have no clue what's going on.
The cars 3 year manufacture warranty recently passed, but I do have an extended warranty from the dealership purchased the car from, Parks (used to be MacRae & Dick), any advise on what to do/say when I phone up on Monday?

Does it click when you turn over?

    Yeah a couple of times.

  8. Not even going to touch the online side of it, just not interested (mainly due to how much a shit-show GTA V became)

Depending upon your honor, the dialogue in the cut scenes change to reflect that, not sure if it's a big enough change, but enough to justify a second play though to see.

  9. I'm onto my second horse after the first horse (also called My Lovely Horse) had a slight issue with a train, a pretty heart wrenching incident as I had recently achieved top bonding with the horse. It happened in the marshes north of Saint Denis so was not too far too walk back, but since it was my first time in the marshes I wasn't too keen to hang around and with the light fading, I removed my saddle and started to walk back into town

I was hoping for a least a stagecoach to pass me by in the hope to get a lift back and purchase another horse (trying to play as honorable as possible on this play through), instead it was a single guy on a horse who passed me by, I call out hoping I could hitch a lift but as I called out to him he slumped off the horse dead.  The horse meanwhile continues to trot off, but decides to take a left and head onto the train tracks.   I drop the saddle by the dead guy and go off to calm down the hose before I witness another one sided fight with a train.

The b*****ding thing kept wondering off as soon as I got remotely close enough to have the calm option come up as selectable, and as it was trotting constantly I had to run which just spooked it more and this cycle.  Finally got it calmed enough after about  5 mins and headed back to where my saddle was, fully expecting the body to have despawned by the time I got back, but it was still there which is fucking amazing considering it wasn't a plot device, and after looting the body I got the standard stuff while the old saddle was 3 gold teeth......I ask no questions and fenced those off asap.

The world just feels alive, I don't mind the amount of traveling I need to do (may chance on a 2nd play through) and the range of different experience players could have is vast, I don't think many others would have the above scenario happening to them (manly because of stupidity on this players actions)

  10. So last night I was dicking around, in Valentine and ended up losing my horse......don't ask but it involves travelling at speed, a misjudged turn and a solid object..

Anyway, decided to just walk back to camp as I was still playing as a good guy (despite running over pets) Imanaged to flag down a stagecoach that was heading out of town, hitched a lift and rode the 5 mins shotgun, just watching the sunset in fist person mode.  It's a stunningly gorgeous game.

Anyone know why he did it? Must be a reason surely?

Earlier on in the race, Manzi dove down the inside of Fenati and made slight contact and both riders lost time, Fenati coming off the worst of the both riders.  For his part in that incident Manzi has been given a 6 grid place penalty.   I think there has been a bit of an issue between the 2 riders throughout this season and Fenati lost his temper.

Fenati has also lost his ride for next year with MV Agusta, their manager Giovanni Castiglioni saying that it does not represent the values of the company and he will do everything in his power to make sure he doesn't race for them.
