He got his jotters from Plymouth Argyle and Morecambe gave him a chance to resurrect his career and he did well with them, got them promoted to League 1 and then immediately left them and dropped down to League 2 with Bradford where things didn’t go very well and he got sacked. Morecambe, meanwhile, had been relegated to League 2 and they then gave him another chance and he has them just outside the play-off places but with a couple of games in hand.

Now he is rumoured to be dumping Morecambe yet again, after all they have done for him, and heading back to Ross County - my knowledge of Adams is that he is a non-swearing Christian – you would think that he would know all about Judas?

Morecambe are going through a very bad spell off the pitch at the moment, club sale and delay in wages.  Don't think it's unreasonable for Adams to leap at a chance to move away from that. (all according the the fan forum for Morecombe, who seem to be rather positive about Derek, so he's not managed to reach the "argue with own fans" stage yet)

Stewards reject Ferrari's appeal to be able to change Sainz's engine without punishment, so he'll have a grid penalty. Utterly clownshoes.

I mean.....even by recent standards, that's a ridiculously dumb and stupid call.

Didn't the FIA/Stewards wave any punishments when it happened to Russell in the Williams in Baku a few years back?

This for me is exactly it - I really wanted to stay a season ticket holder and could have been convinced.  People do make mistakes and can turn themselves around.  I hear the talk about private texts etc. but the opinions expressed made me incredibly uncomfortable and were made by a man in his 40s.  Still take ownership address it from both the manager and the club and I have been prepared to move beyond it.  I felt the failure to do that was the core issue for me.  Martindale clearly has as has say the cricketer Ollie Robinson with similar kinds of texts though for me slightly different given they were made when he was a teenager.  I've made mistakes in my life and had to own them, rather than brush past and ignore them.  Am willing to put up with a lot - I watched all the home games under McStay and Coyle for god sake - but somethings stretch that loyalty - still off to buy my half season ticket - I don't think Roy comes out of this clean but I am willing to come back  because I really like being part of that community.

This, and the defining point was during the Dundee Utd game where there was the allegation of a racial shout/abuse coming from County away support and Tam Courts made that public stand.  All eyes where on Malky as a result of his past and instead of saying the obvious "we'll help with investigation and this type of behaviour doesn't belong here" he doubled down and took pot shots at Courts.  It was a bad look and woefully handled by all at the club and was confirmation for me at least that nothing changed.

Coyle was sacked as the biggest diddy of the lot.

Derek Adams (first spell) 13 years ago left on his own terms, to be Colin Calderwood's assistant at Hibs.

Jimmy Calderwood's short-term contract wasn't renewed at the end of that 10/11 season (after the short-term Willie McStay disaster).

Everyone else has been sacked since, I think?

Only other one I can think off is Steven Ferguson on a technicality as he was moved to another role within the club.

Would anyone have a lower percentage?

Wikipedia's list has Owen Coyle at 18.2%, 4 wins in 22. Kettlewell is the next worst at 29.2%. But Wikipedia's list looks like being all competitions, so Scott Leitch gets a bump to 30.4% because of the Challenge Cup win that season.

Anyway, that's the company Malky is living in.

Willie McStay....9 games and never won a bloody game.

Stroll is so bang average its frightening. Imagine the morale amongst his pit crew when Alonso is just metres away absolutely killing it.

There is a decent driver in there....maybe not top F1 level but seriously good endurance racer in there.  Wouldn't be surprised if he moves onto the WEC in a few years time and bags a LeMans podium/win.

Will the restart grid go back to the original order? Or positions at the end of lap 1?

If they completed a lap before the Red officially came out, it will be the positions at the end of that lap.

  8. We are still conceding the same type of goals we did last year, still giving away silly penalties/fouls that cost us, Malky keeps going with a back 3 when we look more secure with a back 4....and honestly I get the same vibe as last year (talk about how things are improving etc etc but no results to prove it and still end up in the playoffs).  Maybe changing manager won't change anything...…but sticking with Malky almost guarantees nothing will change, he's got to go.

Luckily St Johnstone are a complete mess atm, but it's still not out of the realms of possibility that they could end up fighting for 11th come the end of the season...and unless there a dramatic upturn with County it will be ourselves who will be fighting them off.  Also, do not fancy our chances with the playoff either....can't rely on the opposition forgetting how to take a kick-off properly again.

    Hamilton is never fucking happy

Meh, we hear just a fraction of the radio communication put out.  Pretty sure there isn't a driver out there who isn't moaning about being asked to do a long stint on the mediums.
