  1. Maybe..it's an unusual set of circumstances I agree. However I'm on the side of the punter here. IMO It's up to the seller not to be vague about what is being bought or contract entered into, otherwise it's open to interpretation. In this case the seller removed that vagueness or ambiguity around what happened to Rangers, IMO, by stating clearly on their literature that Rangers had been relegated. Simply that's what the punter said in his contract with Corals, and what they stated happened
  2. You quoted before my fat finger edit, again I don't think the judge is that interested in whether Rangers were relegated or disappeared but the contract between both parties
  3. I'm not so sure that's the crux of the argument, I would have thought it was more to do with what both parties understood when the bet was place and accepted , hence introducing evidence from corals about advertisements saying "First old firm game since Rangers were relegated " and so on.
  4. Seriously? Even after having cheated, and corrupted Scottish football...tell you what amazes me, the complete lack of self awareness from The rangers club and fans
  5. Well your question did not point me in that direction Not sure what Dermot Desmond has to do with King disappearing unless you suspect something sinister. However rather than follow your whataboutery I'd just say if DD has done something illegal with tax then I would expect, and welcome, the full force of the law to come down on him. I'd go further and say if his sharp accountants have avoided / evaded social taxation then it's morally wrong and should be highlighted. I'd go even further...I'd expect that our Parliament could easily have a law of retrospective claim if rich people circumvent taxes by smart accountants / loopholes rather than respecting the spirit in which those taxes are set. It might put some accountants out of business or make rich people think twice before cheating the rest of us simply because they can afford to do so.
  6. Hard to tell, apparently when the bold bhoy is not in attendance the rest of the board build an effigy of him using £100 notes from the loose change tin, it's rumoured to cost around £760,000. The moustache alone is over £40,000. It's an impressive sight sitting at the head of the boardroom table I'm told. Difference is you can tell king is not around as you canny hear the rattle of loose change and everyone in the room feeling they are being stared at, at the same time
  7. New catch phrase and match day chant doon Ibrox "where's dave" I think he's been lifted again in South Africa
  8. This is the same mob that caused the trouble in George Square at indy ref, I think their main interest is in NI, wee group using The rangers club to promote their twisted views
  9. This is the problem The rangers fans face, tiny group of extreme unionists full of self importance issuing communiques like they are talking for the majority, most clubs would find a way to slap idiots like these down. Eventually the majority of fans are going to need to force the club somehow to deal with these people, or continue to allow the extremists to think they speak for the fans rather than the wee band of nuts that they really are.
  10. No they have not, although they have the bill from Celtic, I don't expect them to pay that seems to be a trait they took from the old club along with it's assets and fans. Still no be long before the media is in about it
  11. Are they saying they want their own fans banned for smashing up the toilets
  12. This is the reason I said I hope Celtic slap the Daily Record, they had the same information, and more, but decided to hang the story on Celtic, why ? I can only think level 5 ( and that effectively means Rangers) asked a favour, or heaven forbid provided the copy. I've no time for tax cheats, I hope they keep chasing them regardless of who they are
  13. I think we can find a member of the SFA who is not a Celtic fan, unless you don,t think the statement was incendiary, not sure I mentioned ludicrous but you are correct to use that word
  14. Indeed, Hibs need not to get involved, the SFA need to call someone who in charge at Ibrox in tomorrow and TELL them to drop official incendiary comments. They seem to have lost the plot
  15. That's the problem they have effectively listed enemies of The Rangers
  16. Well if he's in charge, then he needs to do something, I'm sure police Scotland will be following up that "unhelpful" statement
  17. To be honest someone at the SFA needs to have a word with King, that is one crazy statement
  18. Thought it was a fantastic game, congratulations to both teams for that. Fantastic feeling for the Hibees, given the abuse they get on the SC thingy. Some daft arses on both sides after the match does not detract from what was a great advert for Scottish football
  19. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i7zw92lSNus Don't let the basturds get ye doon
  20. RTC is indeed an excellent source The most shameful reaction to all of this is, by a distance, are the people charged to run our game honestly, it's stunning to me how much they were corrupted by the Rangers debacle.
  21. They seemingly do not care how ridiculous their arguments are, or worry about getting pulled up for threats to other clubs. I blame our authorities, they allowed the rules to be twisted and bent to try and keep the former Rangers fans onside, the whole episode is shameless
