The young boy Joe Bevan at Camelon looks like a player.  Only 17, but certainly one for the future

Already been looked at by a L1 team lower down the league who decided not to take it further according to my source.

A fair number of senior teams looking at him. It is different levels but IMO when these sort of players appear there is no harm getting him in to take a look in training.

He's playing for a senior team! Couldn't cut it in the first team at Stenny or Camelon - maybe the move to Linlithgow Ams has improved him but its a massive jump from Level 9 to Level 3 and the lad Arbroath took is already back there whilst the striker Stirling took from Level 8 ain't exactly setting the stats on fire either.

Dunipace are one of the more intriguing clubs in Scottish football.

Literally a few years back pre Covid,  they playing out of two portacabins. Think there might have a brick building/dressing rooms that the local neds decided it was fun to torch. Think the ground was their 4th of 5th pitch over about 50 years. The pitch itself had a slope but not goal mouth to goal mouth but side to side. Think one corner flag spot was three feet higher than the other on the same byeline.

    Thats utter bollocks.

  4. Lets take one last look at the league record of a manager who lasted far too long -

    P 27

    W 3

    D 4

    L 20

    F 35

    A 77

    gd -42

    PTS - 13

    Clean sheets = 1

    Points won = 16.05%

The committee have to take the blame for keeping him on when it was clear last season that it wasn't working but their line of "wait until he signs his own players" was always going to turn out to be the wrong call for this season seeing as they allowed him to sign more than a starting XI last season.

edit - and thats the end of that, we never need mention him again.

So long and thanks for all the fish.

What a sad wee scumbah Leckie is these days. Any time I read 'Penthouse and Pavement' I wonder what has happened to the man, as he's totally different to the guy who wrote that book, and not different in any ways that we might change as we move on in life, but like it's a total 180 of the brain. It would be sad to see if he wasn't such an irredeemable arsehole.

The Leckie of the book was the act, what you have now is the reality.

    He's ALWAYS been a weapons grade c**t.

    Question time

Excluding the Scottish Cup, In the last decade how many players capped by Scotland  have played against the BU's in competitive games ?

Kirk Broadfoot and Ian Black. Are there more ?

Saw Gary Kenneth (2 caps) play an East Junior game at Camelon for Carnoustie back in 2014 - he may have played against Bo'ness that same season.

  7. Was two people along from former Falkirk owner George Fulston at the game over the weekend.

Once got on "Wish You Were Here..." as a background extra when Judith Chalmers was doing a piece to camera - she was lovely.

Have met 2 SNP first ministers, a Conservative Secretary of State for Scotland and a leader of the Scottish Labour party. Three of them came across as very nice people, no matter your political allegiance after a chat with them you could see why people would give them a vote and lets just say the other one was Jim Murphy.

Whitburn have won every game they’ve played thus far, Syngenta are top of the league. Nice try.

    look at the results,

see why it was a ridiculous statement to make. Its not even September and the statement has been negated.

H2h if you need further explanation.

I wonder why Drs hasn’t updated his facts straight after this game

...because I've not been on this site for over a week - not all of us are on here all day, every day 😆

Just for you though, the kneepadders should feel free to update as and when as I've not been doing it every week.

League results under the current management,

    Played 23

    Won 3

    Drawn 2

    Lost 18

    For 26

    Against 66

    a single clean sheet.

    Camelon 0 Luncarty 5

Whoever the faceless folk running Camelon are, they have to walk away - and take Fr Ted (the money was just resting in my account) with you!

    Last Season -

"wait until he has put together his own team"

    Last night -

Well that excuse is gone, this is the managers team - a manager that has won 2 league games in 22 and still those sailing the Titanic seem comfortable with his record as the iceberg looms dead ahead. Quite possibly an even more inept performance than when IHS stuck 5 past them at Carmuirs last season.

Second to every single ball and offering absolutely nothing - every time the ball went up the park it was coming straight back and seemingly finding a Luncarty player and sticking with them or them finding a player in space to pass the ball to. The keeper must have had the most touches of anyone last night as it seemed that every time Luncarty attacked it either ended up in the net or the keeper having to make a save.

Thankfully Luncarty took the foot off the gas at five or it would have been far far worse.

...probably not until changes are made.
