  1. The whole vibe I'm getting from the pair of them is it's the end of the night and she's grabbed him by the ear and told him he'll do.

He's not sure whether it'll be the experience of a lifetime or if his face will end up on a milk carton.

He looks miles out of his depth.

That one night could be a life changer (in a bad way) for the boy.

  3. Courteeners tonight at Alhambra. Doubt it'll be sell out but hopefully be decent.

Just back from the Alhambra, really good gig.

Sold out the barrowlands at the weekend. They should be brilliant at the Barrowlands

  4. I was surprised to read that Dunfermline were still pulling in 3300 yesterday against Morton.

From a population point of view there can't be that much in it between Dunfermline and Kirkcaldy.

To be honest I'm not sure whats putting me off more the poor football or 90 minutes of folk pure seething, there is of course the argument that the two are related however given how poor the whole experience is i'm surprised 1500 people still go.

Your point about the Pars, I was also surprised when I saw over 3k for a home game against Morton.

Your point about the Rovers still having 1500 is also true, but if we continue in the same vain on the park, it won't be long until we go below the thousand mark for a Saturday game. Wait till the really crap weather comes and the financial squeeze in December and January.

  5. What game were you watching? He did his silly tuck jump thing he always does. He actually celebrated the same way he did after scoring the winner in the cup final. He's a funckin little rat!.....I still love him though!

That's what I was trying to say. For someone that the official site is bigging up as loving the club, he looked a hoor of a pleased with himself when he scored in front of the South Stand.

Don't get me wrong I still like the guy. Your confession to still loving him is taking it a bit too far

  6. Dundee could have the conference wrapped up by next week. A joy to watch this season and fully deserve to be in the position that we are in.

Agreed, Dundee have been a good side this year, have fell away slightly in the second half but overall a good side to watch. I have enjoyed all the games with the Stars this year

  7. I've got a bit if sympathy for those that have lost out and not got a ticket.

It's not really going to effect me because I will be missing the final anyway due to work commitments. But, I missed the vouchers due to working and I don't have a season ticket so I would have been in the same position.

I genuinely feel sorry for anyone that never got a ticket.

  8. Yup, Fife really are on a good run of form. Players who were struggling for form a couple months back are on fire just now. Especially Fulton and Reber.

This is my first year watching ice hockey and I can't emphasis enough how much more entertaining it is compared to the football. The whole experience is based on the fans enjoyment.

Hopefully the Flyers can keep there form going and overtake Hull or Cardiff for a playoff spot!

It's my first year at the hockey as well. If you look at it £ for £ against whats served up at Starks Park then it doesn't even compare.

The whole hockey experience is much better value for money. Maybe Doncaster and his troop of fannies could do with analysing where they are going wrong. It's no surprise that the Rovers had under 1500 on Saturday but there was over 2000 at FIA for the Braehead match on Saturday.

If you look at the home crowds for Braehead, they are getting over 3000 for most games, Just along the road St Mirren are struggling to drawn much more in the SPL!

  9. Just bought a 'delivery mileage' 62 Corsa from them last week. Cant say I have any complaints about the setting up the finance or the cost or the motor itself, It was a pretty damn good deal. Included was two free services, should I be worried about the standard of these services when they come? I cant see the shop floor mechanic being too fussed how these are paid for.

Lets look at this from Arnolds eyes.

There is no such thing as a 'free' service, its all built into the cost of the car, and because you have taken finance, your effectively paying interest on your servicing costs. Which means more profit for the boy Arnold.

Your first service will be nothing more than an oil & filter change and a quick tickle with the feather duster. The oil and filter will cost him no more than £15 at trade price.Your second servce will probably be a bit more thorough but still the parts cost at trade price will be minimal. However, when your car is in for the second service there will be a fair chance that it will need additional work (brake pads, tyres etc) which will result in additional payments.

By having your car coming back to him for its servicing keeps his workshop busy and justifies his layout of financies on his workshop facilities and equipment.

In a nutshell, the free servicing deal is a win win situation for Arnold.

  10. Good to see that some things never change.

If Arnold keeps going at this rate he will have pi$$ed off nearly everyone in the UK, surely a first for any business in this country.

A family member of mine took a job with Arnold a little over a year ago (much to my disgust). I gave them all the warnings that you would come to expect from an Arnold hater like me, but unfortunately needs must and they took the position within the Customer Service Dept. Before they started the job they couldnt understand my hatered of this Company, six months after starting they left and if you asked them about Arnold now they wouldn't have a good word to say about him. From the stories that I have been told since, never ever use their 'workshops' for any kind of repairs or servicing.

I'm on the look out for my next motor and its safe to say that I will be steering well clear of this shower again.

    Rant over.
