  1. No chance of this happening any time soon. If the result doesn't go Livi's way tomorrow (for the avoidance of doubt i really hope it does) Martindale has already unearthed his excuse already by claiming Raith are a bigger club.
  2. Unless you want to run it like a proper bar and conferencing facility like it used to be. Some clubs also take that approach. The club used to run its own events and some of them were very good in the past. At one point you could book lunch daily at the club. I guess you need a decent chef for that kind of operation. FC will likely lose a lot of revenue next season if Livingston are in the Championship.
  3. As long as it takes to hear the evidence. I understand 3 days have been pencilled in for this case. The nature of the case = £££'s
  4. Thought he was a decent player just needing more development.
  5. Ward can't offer up Almondvale Suite as it's not his to offer up. Agree with the point of before or after a game. It would be difficult as the current operators of Almondvale Suite have it open to make money either with Old Firm fans or to Livingston fans. As i understand it the Rankine case against the club os due to kick off on 23rd January.
  6. The meeting will be the Sunday before the Rankine vrs Livingston FC case.
  7. Rumoured on the fans page he stuck the head on Martindale? Would it not have been better for the club to just say we've agreed to part and he leaves rather than say he's homesick as that was clearly not the case given where he has signed on post Livingston era.
  8. Now we are getting somewhere with that admission. Prior to this post you have portrayed what a hero Ward has been. That is just simply not true given the current financial state of losses at the club. Given Martindale's role at the club he is part of that mess and thats very unhealthy too. You are personalising this again. You mean that people are wary because of the Trusts record at Livi not mine? Not sure who is in denial of the McDougall era? The Trust board need to be accountable for the fan in the board along with the Trust membership who can challenge/quiz the people voted to represent them ? The big reality is the Livi support has always been divided. The decrying i have is the users on here that think discussion like this post is just 'agenda's' and want to put people on mute and block. Thats fine until it goes t*ts up. There are financial problems at Livi & the fans need to come together. The Trust is one platform to provide that platform
  9. Sad times. There was a club employee on the fans page told the the boo boys to do one from the Motherwell game. Is that what you are talking about?
  10. I don't quite get the fixation around trying to work out who is who on this board. I appreciate we are a small support, but there is no need to throw names about for the sake of it. I don't think the Trust has any bigwigs as it stands today. They have come out and said they will stand aside (hope they keep that promise) and let some new blood take over with some nee energy. Let the Trust be the force it was first time round. The trust needs to find the right balance between working with the club but also holding them account in terms of ensuring they are looking after the club in the best way possible and when not calling that out. whatever side of the fence you stand today the club is not in great shape even Ward has said as much and to compound this there is an ownership fight in the background which adds pressure to the whole situation. That ownership challenge is not just 2 people it's multiple people / fractions. The trust has a massive part to play in terms of communication across these people/fractions if it truly wants to be the representation of the fans. The quicker the meeting happens the quicker the trust can re-emerge and stand up and play their part in helping unite the fanbase. It really is time for action not muting certain users because you think they have an agenda but I guess each to their own.
  11. I think they have said they are concerned although they are not the fastest in terms of getting the fans together albeit they have said why that is.
  12. You paranoid? sure your not paranoid? You accuse others (me) with little evidence on here yet the irony is you throw accusations about left, right and centre. The point is its a discussion board not an evidence board. You can take my comments like a pinch of salt like I take your accusations.
  13. I feel the same is happening again sadly. The ownership / running of the club is so fragmented and the off field challenges / court cases can't be helping the players.
  14. I would agree with that. There is a lot of apathy with Livingston FC supporters. A good functioning Supporters Trust should be aligned to the club in the good and not so good times. They should be the voice of the fans and thats been missing for years holding the club to account where thats needed. As you say they give the club a-lot of goodwill today. During the early days post Massone period the club paid the trust with shares for their labour (turnstiles etc) Wonder if thats still the case?
  15. I think given they presented / put forward such a bad case with constant changes that they are alao paying Hogarth's legal fees as well as their own. If you have a case you define it and charge forward - why didn't they just do that? The current regime hasn't really engaged much to the fans over the last few years at least so highly unlikely to given the court cases. I remember when there used to be club fans forums. I accept they might not rock up and spill all but fans would at least be given an opportunity to ask searching questions. I am sure we all hear snippets from various sources so you have to be cautious on how you talk about it as it might actually be a load of sh!te but given club history i'd rather put that on the table than just keep it. i would be a good day if we were to get honesty and transparency from the club and i also accept that also lacks alot at many clubs
  16. Ditto despite what FF might insinuate on this thread. I thinks so. Remember we've just had Livingston FC vrs Neil Hogarth Lord Braid was not very complimentary of the Livingston FC case. Its there for all to see. in January (a few days away) we have Neil Rankine Vrs Livingston FC. We can't afford to just ignore these cases surely l? Why can't we at least discuss them here? . Both of these cases will be cost the club a fair whack on legal fees (double wammy on the Hogarth case) and Martindale says he has had a budget cut (see the link?) money is being drained from the club to feed lawyers pockets rather than Livingston FC having the biggest budget it can have. We haven't even got on to the club losses this year and last. Surely these are topical discussion point i have no agenda (despite what FF says about me) i want fellow Livingston fans to be aware as much as possible. i do get some fans just want to just talk football but see the history of this threat was the mad Italians stewardship period.
  17. This post really does take the biscuit. Is it for real seriously? These happy clappers need to wake up. They must have been sleeping over last few years. This year and last year over £1m losses and a £1.7m loan to Scottish Government that costs £80k per year. All together now : if you are happy and you know it clap your hands - stick your fingers in your ears
  18. This of course they are now going to say I am in cahoots with you or we are the same poster or we have the same agenda. Just delete as appropriate.
  19. Lets get the Livi tambourine out and start singing if you are happy and you know it clap your hands
  20. Your a laugh a minute you keep living in your Ward / Martindale bubble. It will burst eventually ps when did i last use a gif
  21. Back pot kettle. feel free to put in the right order. i challenge any poster to look at my posts and see who has jumped in even just look over the last month. we have very different perspectives #irony
