  1. Rangers directors are the Administrators, you would have thought they would have turned up to fight their corner to make sure the best deal was got for all, oh wait a minute the longer it goes on the more they rake out of it
  2. Rangers of Glasgow 2012 would need a ground or you thinking about scotstoun
  3. The land it sits on is worth alot though, or for a stadia management company to buy it for say £10 million and rent it out at say £2 million a season, plus hold concerts etc, and the conference and hospitality it offers
  4. He is buying Oldco with all the debt attached to it, It is only legal if the assets are purchased from oldco at a proper and fair price, so how much will he pay for Ibrox, Murray park etc all in prime locations his £11 million wont cover that, or the players? All the creditors HMRC etc can stop sales going through if he were to transfer the assets for say a quid
  5. But Windy Millar will be buying oldco and moving the stuff to newco to take the assets away from the creditors, and stop them getting paid the maximum value its all the same
  6. When the Jags came bottom of the SPL several years ago after spending a fortune building stands for the 10,000 rule, Inverness were due to go up, without a 10,000 all seater stadium. The rules were clear, all member clubs must have their own SPL compliant stadium, growndsharing was not allowed. Instead of the Jags staying up and Caley remaining in the 1st, a vote was taken to back this, but a few clubs not being happy with this called a second vote, this second vote was taken allowing Caley to share with Aberdeen for 6 months and only build 6,000 seats. We abided by the rules including at the time undersoil heating and cost us a fortune at the time whilst the SPL changed the rules (Par for the course as we know), this nearly put us out of business and we have had to cut back since to make ends meet, but hey maybe we should just set up a newco and ask to get back in the SPL
  7. Start with mailing the SFA, SPL even the SFL and your club info@scottishfa.co.uk enquiries@scotprem.com info@scottishfootballleague.com Try contacting supporters direct or get your fans organisation to use them to speak with one voice enquiries@supporters-direct.coop Bombard the papers, the phone ins, the journalists twitters etc. Let Sky know your subscription is in risk etc etc
  8. No SPL would vote and approve league reconstruction where another 2 come up and no one gets relegated or invoke article 16.9O of the rules that state no club that is called Rangers can be relegated so 11 th place has to go down or top of the 1st doesnt come up
  9. Try telling that to Lestor Piggot & Ken Dodd EBT's were not illegal, but they way Rangers used them were (IE to hide wages) What folk are wanting is for any Newco whether Rangers, Hearts Albion Rovers or who ever to have to start again at the bottom of the pile (DIV 3)
  10. But the old company is still there, as the incubator or whatever. Would only apply if full liquidation aof old company and Newco sets up
  11. TUPE wont apply as the old Rangers will be left with all the debt, the players contracts are against that company (Assets), and they can be asked to transfer across (If Creditors agree). But as the players all have a get out clause at the end of the season where they can leave for a fraction of their value (As part of the pay cut deal), and could make money on signing on fees, how many would stay and transfer over. This is all smoke and mirrors from the Administrators, who's statements and actions since the start have been baffling. No lay offs (Unfortunatly the 1st thing any administrator does), saying their priority is to keep the club playing football (No its to get the creditors money), and the supposed deals with the SPL & HMRC that they say have done that the HMRC & SPL have denied. Duff & Phelps have an agenda, which i dont believe any of us properly understand yet, and i wouldnt be surprised is Agent Whyte was playing puppet master to them, as if the rumours are true he has used this firm several times in the past
  12. For those that care please let the SPL & the SFA know your concerns about a newco being launched straight back in to the top flight at the following addresses enquiries@scotprem.com info@scottishfa.co.uk Its time for the fans to stand up and please mail your own boards too
  13. The TV deal is peanuts for the other 10 teams remember 90% split 2 ways (rangers & celtic) 10% split 10 ways (St Mirren and the likes) I believe it was either St Mirren or Motherwell chairman that stated a live OF game at their ground cost money on stewarding & policing with them losing revenue from smaller travelling OF support and less fair weather home fans or those with kids turning up. Why should we keep Rangers competitive, why not Aberdeen or Dundee Utd or St Mirren for that case instead of helping 1 at the detrement to 40, lets sod the 1 for the good of 40. If the SPL or SFA back down and allow themselves to be rangers rent boy I wont be back and i hope that Uefa ban the SPL from Europe for centuries (Sorry Motherwell) but if the SPL board members vote for this they are stabbing their own fans in the back and deserve nothing back, as your views and the views of the majority of clubs fans mean nothing to them only the TV money
  14. My sentiments exactly, same club too. Theleague structure will now be irrelevent if this goes through. Lets just close 40 teams and let the OF play each other week in week out for the telly money, cause thats all the SPL board seem to want. Close the grounds pay off the players so no overheads and the directors that vote for this can have pure profit with no outgoings. This could kill football, i wont be back or will my family and most of my friends, Jags fans, Dons fans, Killie fans & even an airdrie fan, they worry about attendances now, in 6 months they would be able to play most of the games at glasgow green so someone walking past may watch Be very careful board members so called short term gain could put you out of business earlier
  15. HMRC would not comment on it to admin or anyone else, especially as the big case hasnt been settled, duff & phelps are pulling the usual stalling tacticts, give it a week and it will all be off again. What they are proposing to do flys in the face of all HMRC and debt recovery guidance
